You are a talented Clinical Exercise Physiologist who will deliver care and support to our patients throughout our flagship virtual cardiac rehab program. In this role, you will..
Be the first face-to-face touch point for many of the patients joining our program
Provide high-quality clinical care utilizing best practices set forth by Carda's Clinical team
Perform health histories, evaluate patient records, suggest appropriate care paths
Provide lifestyle recommendations to patients related to specific goals
Input notes and all other relevant information into our EMR
Communicate and partner with other members of the patients' care team to properly coordinate care and oversee patient care plans on an ongoing basis
Work directly with founders to innovate and improve our cutting edge digital care delivery model
Work collaboratively with our technology team to support a smooth experience for our patients and clients
Be willing to do whatever it takes to ensure a great, engaging rehab experience for our patients
Take pride in delivering high quality care for patients going through our rehab program
Provide support to our patients, empowering them to be accountable and take ownership of their rehabilitation.
What we look for
Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent (Master's preferred)
ACSM certification (preferred)
Minimum 1+ years relevant experience and top performance working as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac and/or Pulmonary Rehab
Possess strong anatomy and physiology skills
Above average proficiency working with technology - you will be helping guide patients through our digital health programs including troubleshooting their technology issues with wearables and tablets
Great interpersonal skills that foster a caring environment for patients.
Diligence and organization with the ability to create and adhere to repeatable processes.
Ability to perform with little direction in a high-growth, early stage startup (ie self-driven).

The successful candidate must be a committed, reliable team player able to work under limited supervision. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills and the ability to enforce policies are required.

Kento Health is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist - Clinical Content Lead to deliver high-quality patient care while also leading the creation and management of educational content. This unique role blends clinical expertise with patient education, content management, and social media outreach. Key Responsibilities:
Direct Clinical Care (~50%):
Deliver personalized exercise physiology care, including patient assessments, creating individualized exercise and rehabilitation plans, and providing ongoing support.
Monitor patient progress and adjust exercise programs to optimize outcomes and patient safety.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated, holistic patient care.

Patient Education & Content Management (~50%):

Drive Kento's visibility and online presence by sharing clinical program content through social media and other digital platforms.
Update and maintain content in the content management system (CMS) to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to best practices.
Suggest new content ideas, based on patient feedback and emerging clinical trends, to ensure materials are up-to-date and engaging.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical exercise physiology experience, with a strong focus on patient education.
Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a proven ability to create clear, engaging educational materials.
Experience with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and video content creation.
Ability to design, deliver, and manage patient education programs and group classes (both online and in-person).
Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.

About the Role
We are hiring for a high-impact, full-time role as an Exercise Physiologist to play a pivotal role in our Early Medical team. The position will also support testing for patients on our 10 Squared team, with the support of the 10 Squared Member Experience Coordinator. * Perform and monitor diagnostic stress and pharmacologic exams according to established protocols as part of Myocardial Perfusion Imaging in Nuclear medicine which includes the following:

* Prepare preliminary stress test results for further review by the Director of Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine.
* Radiation safety training by RSS for safe handling, administration, and spill response. This includes initial Radiation training upon hire, annual competencies required for ongoing use and handling of radiotracers, radioactive dose handling and administration techniques, dose verification and charting according to local policies for safe handling of radioisotopes, survey meter training and use to recognize spills and to confirm or deny contamination of areas and personnel, radiation spill response training including clean up and decontamination of area, equipment, and personnel, proper radioactive waste management and training for segregation of isotope waste, and personal dosimetry training upon hire and adherence to dosimeter policies.

Job Summary
The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of the cardiac remote monitoring program for specific cardiology clinic customers of CRMS by DocGo. Duties include reviewing daily alerts and transmissions of all patients enrolled in remote monitoring websites, documentation, interpretation, triaging and communicating with patients, team lead, clinical staff and the physicians to ensure appropriate coordination of care. Responsibilities
* Reviews patient health information prior to goal setting session
* Work with patients on exercises for our focus populations, typically older adults with cardiovascular issues (over telehealth/videoconferencing platform)
* Implements exercise plans according to current professional and organization standards
* Reviews patients progress, evaluating compliance and patient response to exercise
* Leads group exercise sessions for individuals with similar health issues

* Perform and monitor diagnostic stress and pharmacologic exams according to established protocols as part of Myocardial Perfusion Imaging in Nuclear medicine which includes the following:
* Patient 12 lead EKG preparation and placement, placement of IV catheters, continuous monitoring of EKG and blood pressure during the NM stress test, administration, and infusion of pharmacologic stress medications along with reversal agents, administration of Radiopharmaceutical tracers during stress testing, completing associated patient history worksheets, contacting scheduled patients to explain the procedure and inform them of any preparations, utilizes nuclear medicine equipment following proper protocols.
* Protocolling patient studies-Determining proper imaging modality (PET vs. SPECT), stress type (pharmacological vs. treadmill), and imaging sequences based on the patient history, attributes and indications on order and routing to NM providers.
* Prepare preliminary stress test results for further review by the Director of Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine.
* Radiation safety training by RSS for safe handling, administration, and spill response. This includes initial Radiation training upon hire, annual competencies required for ongoing use and handling of radiotracers, radioactive dose handling and administration techniques, dose verification and charting according to local policies for safe handling of radioisotopes, survey meter training and use to recognize spills and to confirm or deny contamination of areas and personnel, radiation spill response training including clean up and decontamination of area, equipment, and personnel, proper radioactive waste management and training for segregation of isotope waste, and personal dosimetry training upon hire and adherence to dosimeter policies.
* Works consistently as a team member willing to assist everyone, crossing modalities when needed.
* Follows Infection Control practices utilizing aseptic techniques, observing Universal precautions, and patient safety standards.
* Assists with the education of Nuclear Medicine Technology Students and/or health care professionals and participates in the division's quality improvement program for the area.
* Possesses a positive work ethic to enhance teamwork in a fast-paced environment and is accountable for actions.

RELATED DUTIES
* Proper charting in EPIC and data transfers to PACS.
* Monitors the Order Entries for all patient exams.

* Maintains ACLS Certification and ACSM Registry.
Required Qualifications*

* Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) is required within one year of date of hire.

As an Exercise Physiologist with Michigan Medicine, you will work directly with patients at the following seven stress testing and 2 cardiac rehabilitation locations: Cardiovascular Center, Dominos Farms, Brighton Center for Specialty Care, Ypsilanti Health Center, Briarwood building 5, Northville Health Center. You?ll work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other medical professionals to determine patients? needs and monitor progress to ensure the best care is coordinated. The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for being able to conduct the following areas:
Stress testing:
* Knowledge of principles and details of clinical exercise testing, including proper lead placement, cardiovascular medications, etc.
* Conduct and interpretation of 6-minute hall walks, cardiopulmonary exercise tests, stress echocardiograms, routine treadmills, and research stress tests.
* Knowledge of appropriate indication for exercise testing
* Knowledge of appropriate contraindications, risk, and risk assessment of testing
* Ability to promptly recognize and treat complications of exercise testing, including cardiac arrhythmias
* Knowledge of various exercise protocols and indication for each
* Knowledge of basic cardiovascular and exercise physiology including hemodynamics response to exercise
Cardiac Rehabilitation:
* Possess the knowledge and skills for each of the core competencies (patient assessment, nutritional counseling, weight management, blood pressure management, etc.).
* Identify, respect, and care for patients expressed needs.
* Educate patient based on educational needs and interest.
* Empower patients.
* Cooperate, collaborate, and communicate with multidisciplinary team to ensure care is continuous and reliable.
* Understand and implement basic exercise safety design principles.
