What You'll do
The Purpose of the Human Resources Lead is to assist with various human resources functions and to provide support to both management and associates at their location. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a positive and productive work environment while upholding company policies and legal compliance. The HR Lead will be responsible for overseeing employment-related activities at the location level, which include but are not limited to staffing, timekeeping, record keeping of performance coaching, benefits administration, and training coordination.

Coordinate and conduct new associate orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date associate records in the Human Capital Management system, including personal information, attendance, leave management, and all other relevant documentation.
Assist with benefits administration and enrollment processes.
Coordinate and conduct training sessions on assorted topics, including workplace policies, positions specific training, and associate development.
Support performance management processes, aiding with goal setting, performance evaluations, and associate development plans.
Serve as a point of contact for associates, addressing inquiries promptly and providing guidance.
Assist your HR Business Partner to resolve associate conflicts and disciplinary issues, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
Partner with the Store Support Center Human Resources and the Store Manager with policy, procedure, and initiatives.
Maintain associate communication by removing outdated communications and posting current information on RK programs, benefits, schedules, location performance, wellness, safety compliance, and other pertinent information.
Oversee the location's safety program including maintaining the accident/incident files, communicating daily safety topics, completing the safety audits, and completing accident reviews.
Maintain a strong code of ethics and high degree of confidentiality of information about all company, associate, community, legal, and all other matters.
Regularly communicate, both written and verbally, with partners from Store Support Center in a professional manner.
Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, and computer.
May be required to work evenings and weekends.
Oversee monthly cash reporting as needed.
Maintain office and breakroom supplies.
Maintain breakroom and training space standards.
Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments and responsibilities.

Your Day at Lowe's
As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable to improve customers' overall shopping experience. You ensure our merchandise is accurately received and replenished by safely unloading merchandise from incoming freight, moving it to the sales floor, and stocking shelves.
This role is physically demanding, and to be successful, you will need to understand proper lifting procedures and prepare to move merchandise for most of your shift. Additionally, you will replace damaged shelving, keep the backroom organized, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.

The Quality Assurance Lab lead shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
The Lube and Tire Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.
The Lube and Tire Technician must be able to meet the following physical requirements:
Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently

Computer Field Tech Position- Marion IL
Job 15 miles from Carbondale
This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you.
Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

The primary focus of this position is to ensure and maintain a secure campus environment by providing protection and security of persons, facilities, and properties of John A. Education & Experience Requirements
Education required: High school diploma
Other requirements: Must be 21 years of age, must be able to pass a security clearance, and must possess a valid driver's license

Essential Functions & Position Duties
* Performs routine security duties in accordance with established Campus Safety Department guidelines
* Regularly patrols assigned areas to ensure JALC students and personnel are in a secure environment
* Monitor student behavior to ensure a safe learning environment
* Warns violators or rule infractions
* Enforces college student code of conduct and investigates incidents when necessary
* Writes incident reports and conducts interviews involving incidents that occur on campus
* Assist staff, students, and visitors on campus with information or directions to various buildings or campuses
* Monitor and maintain closed circuit TV camera system, and secure and protect College properties
* Actively work to identify, report, and mitigate any health or safety hazards and report any risk management concerns to immediate supervisor
Non-Essential Functions of the Position
Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the abovementioned duties. Duties must be performed on the John A. Logan College campus or designated location.
