Golf Operations Captain - Golf VX (Full-Time) Golf VX is looking for a strong Golf Operations Captain, you'll be a key player in ensuring exceptional experiences for both our guests and team. You'll lead shifts, guide your team, and help create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere in our indoor golf simulator environment. Position Description The Senior Captain is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned. This individual must ensure compliance with all Federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. When assigned to the flight, the Senior Captain has the final authority in the operation of the aircraft. Minimum of 5,000 flight hours, including at least two Jet type ratings. 2,000 hours PIC minimum. 2500 hours multi-engine minimum. 2000 hours turbojet minimum. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * The Captain is the company's onboard manager and representative. * Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and navigation, in all weather conditions, of the vessel as well as the safety of all persons on board. * Ensures that the vessel is properly manned in accordance with the vessel's COI and that accurate passenger counts are conducted and recorded. * Responsible for the training of the vessel crew and adherence to all applicable United States Coast Guard, Federal and State laws, including Company policies and procedures. JOB TITLE: TENDER CAPTAIN I DEPARTMENT: Harbors REPORTS TO: Marina Manager Operates tender vessels providing prompt, courteous and safe passage of customers to and from their boats. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operates tender vessels following established Coast Guard regulations and Company guidelines. Performs basic maintenance tasks of Tender Vessel: checking fluids, cleaning bilges, cleaning decks, replacing fuses and light bulbs. Consults and notifies Manager regarding needed repair outside the scope of basic maintenance. Keeps accurate record of tender occupancies as required and complies with all cash control procedures. Answers radio calls in the event the Dispatcher is unavailable and other staff are not present. May assist in maintaining cleanliness of Tender Office and Harbor. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Must posses Coast Guard Tender Captain License Must posses FCC Radio License Must posses Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) 4. CPR/First Aid certified TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Entry level experience. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Responds promptly and courteously to customer requests for service. Ability to swim and work in adverse weather conditions. Ability to provide man-overboard rescues. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Captain is the company's onboard manager and representative. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and navigation, in all weather conditions, of the vessel as well as the safety of all persons on board. Ensures that the vessel is properly manned in accordance with the vessel's COI and that accurate passenger counts are conducted and recorded. Responsible for the training of the vessel crew and adherence to all applicable United States Coast Guard, Federal and State laws, including Company policies and procedures. Evaluate the capabilities and performance of each crew member, and keep the Operations Manager informed. Responsible to immediately report any accident, incident, or unusual occurrence, by the quickest available means, to the appropriate manager. Captain must also ensure that the company's Accident/Incident/Unusual Occurrence forms and/or USCG Form 2692 is filled out in an accurate, clear, concise, complete, and timely manner. Responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the vessel. Performing specified preventative maintenance, including but not limited to gangways, diesel, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, water (potable, raw, black, and gray), fire suppression, communications, and navigation. Ensures periodic engine room inspections are conducted while underway. Document and report maintenance activities and deficiencies in the company's Wheel-House Software. Must be conversant with the vessels Security Plan to ensure that security drills are conducted and recorded as required by company policy and logged a timely manner. Conduct Safety Drills as required by USCG regulations and as may be outlined by Company Policy. Responsible for conducting daily job briefings at the beginning and end of the shift. The completion of the job briefing must be acknowledged and logged in the vessel's logbook. Responsible for the conduct of all crew to ensure that all company policies are being adhered to. Ensure adherence to Coast Guard rules and regulations, and other federal and local rules and regulation. Ensure strict compliance to Emergency Response Plan. Additional job duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications: Minimum 100-TON Master Inland or above License. TWIC, First Aid/CPR. Marine Radio Operator Permit. Detail Oriented / situational awareness. Strong Radar / Navigation skills. Strong focus on safety and teamwork. Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests. Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
