Compensation: $30 Hourly
Position Overview:
At TOCA, we are redefining the League Referee position. Our "Match Captains" are not only experts in the rules and regulations but are key to ensuring that the TOCA Leagues experience is a step above all others. Match Captains will deliver fun and engaging experiences while promoting a safe and welcoming playing environment. A successful Match Captain needs to be passionate about soccer, outgoing, an effective communicator, and energetic.
Responsibilities:
* Guest & Player Experience
* Uphold the culture and values of the TOCA brand
* Promote a fun, engaging, and welcoming leagues experience
* Display a consistent positive attitude & effort
* Create an atmosphere of high energy and excitement
* Communicate with players on upcoming events and other playing opportunities at TOCA
* Hosting Games
* Engaging with the players on the pitch
* Explain rules and regulations as needed to ensure understanding
* Ensure game rules and regulations are being followed
* Administrative Functions
* Track time of games
* Track attendance of players
* Track game and team statistics
* Inspect Equipment
* Ensure all equipment meets the specifications of the games being played
* Conduct equipment checks for all players, league needs, and fields

Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum of high school soccer playing experience
* Experience refereeing soccer matches or in a league setting is preferred
* USSF licensing certifications is preferred
