FIXED WING PILOT
In the C-2 Greyhound, you transport parts, personnel, and mail to the 5,000 people aboard. In the cockpit of the E-2C Hawkeye, youre on patrol as the command control center in the sky. If youre flying the P-3 Orion or the brand-new P-8 Poseidon, you hunt submarines using cutting- edge software, radar, sonar, and acoustics.
HELICOPTER PILOT
As a helicopter pilot, the sky is your domain. Hover over the sea for search and rescue, extract Sailors and Special Forces from a hot landing zone or track and neutralize enemy submarines in defense of your ship.
NAVAL FLIGHT OFFICER
In this role, youre the navigator, the lookout and the weapon operator inside naval aviation. Whether youre hunting submarines from a P-8 Poseidon, navigating an E-2 Hawkeye through enemy territory or dropping bombs from the backseat of an F-18 fighter jet .

What you will do
Select, train, develop, and supervise Asset Protection / Loss Prevention staff on detecting and preventing theft of company property.
Develop, implement, and communicate programs to prevent theft amongst customers and employees.
Participate in initial orientation and on-going training including the computer, surveillance, and alarm systems.
Respond to customer and associate incidents to facilitate first aid and minimize company liability.
Recover stolen merchandise and apprehend shoplifters who commit fraud or other criminal acts against the company.
Investigate criminal violations against the person or property of any customer or associate that is committed on company premises.
Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, audits, and other activities as assigned by the AP/LP Manager.
Be an expert of and maintain strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, searches and seizures, and the preservation of evidence.
Successfully complete all security training requirements and maintain personal certifications as required by law.
Conduct and oversee audits to ensure sales department compliance to merchandise exposure standards and asset protection.
Develop and maintain relationship with local law enforcement to facilitate maximum coordination for potential criminal cases.
Testify in court concerning any case, criminal or civil, wherein the company is a party of interest to which the Asset Protection / Loss Prevention Detective is summoned.
Works on special assignments, investigations, and surveillance as directed by Store AP/LP Manager.
Responds to alarm conditions at assigned store.
Perform other duties as needed.

The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of all flight operations to which he/she is assigned to. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): 1. Operates Company aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Reports punctually for duty in proper attire (i.e., in uniform for flight duty), at the appointed time and place, prior to the scheduled time of departure as stated in company manual.
3. Reads and initials pilot directives and NOTAMs. Reviews weather reports, forecast and flight planning documentation.
4. Complies with all regulations and Company policies and procedures applicable to the performance of duties.
5. Commands all crewmembers to assure proper execution of their various duties.
6. Coordinates flight planning with Dispatch and station personnel.
7. Boards aircraft no later than:
a. 20 minutes prior to departure for the initial flight of the day, and at least 10 minutes prior to departure for any subsequent flights.
8. Responsible for the safety of all crewmembers and cargo onboard the aircraft when the doors are closed.
9. Ensures that checklist and Company Procedures are complied with.
10. Responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft from the time it first moves for the purpose of taking off to the time it is stopped at the designated parking area and the engines are shut down.
11. Oversee, monitor, and verify approved AAC GDAP procedures are safely followed for ground deicing/anti-icing of aircraft.

Overview

Essential Functions:
Supervision
* Directs and supervises all offshore marine employees.
* Interfaces with customers, marine & shoreside employees, vendors, pilots, and regulatory officials.
* Develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures.
* Responsible for hiring, crewing, promotions, personnel placement. Directs training as pertains to marine personnel.
* Supervises responsibilities and performance of vessel personnel.
* Audits vessel logs and approves overtime.
* Assists with utilization and scheduling of tugs and barges in fleet.
* Initiates appropriate corrective and/or disciplinary action.
* Supervises personnel involved in field projects including special shipments and salvage operations.
* Responsible for vessel compliance with the pro-forma schedule, communication of schedule to appropriate parties.
Compliance
* Ensures compliance with company SOP's, regulatory, licensing, and training requirements.
* Investigates and reports the causes and effects of marine incidents.
* Ensures compliance of company safety policies, maintenance and training programs.
* Conducts regular inspections of tugs and barges to ensure compliance with company SMS
* Complies with company Preventative Maintenance Program.
* Complies with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, including, but not limited to: USCG, EPA, ISM, ABS, OSHA and OSPR.
Administrative
* Prepares budgets and manages vessel's supply and crew costs.
* Prepares Towing and/or Operations Plans for ISO compliance.
* Supervises vessel modifications, rigging and supply.
* Interprets and administers government regulations.
* Assists in negotiation and implementation of labor contracts.
* Effectively communicates regional goals and objectives.
* Provides direction and leadership to achieve company Core Values, Mission and Safety Vision.
* Processes employee evaluations in a timely manner.
* Directs, motivates and develops employees for maximum performance.
* Performs special duties and other projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Technical: Must have a strong maritime background with a thorough understanding of the day-to-day operations of vessels, their limits, their capabilities and both internal characteristics and external factors influencing them. Must also understand the individual roles, interactions and responsibilities of crewmembers manning the vessels.
* Legal: Ability to interpret, administer and insure compliance with government regulations related to vessel manning, construction, maintenance & repair, safety, training, navigation, work rules, emergency response, licensing and towing operations.
* Financial: Should understand at a minimum, basic cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes to effectively manage multiple budgets on a routine basis. Good organizational and planning skills are essential.
* Communications: Must possess strong written and oral communicative skills to draft business letters, develop reports, present oral presentations, create policies & procedures and write repair specifications.
* Customer Relations: Should have good interpersonal skills to work well with customers, peers, superiors, subordinates, competitors and the general public. Should also have a strong appreciation for and be sensitive to the needs of our customers recognizing that the Company is a specialty service provider.
* Human Relations: Must be a team player but at the same time be willing to exercise authority when required. A coach-type management style is most effective. * Must be able to gain an intimate familiarity with company lines of business, reporting and monitoring of financial performance.
* Ability to understand and interpret laws and regulations as they apply to the maritime business.
* Must be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, U.S. Coast Guard, ABS, OSHA, OSPR and other local, state and federal agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preference given to those from a maritime academy, is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have five years as a tugboat captain or shoreside management experience. Ocean towing is preferred. Must possess a valid USCG Masters License or Mates License at a minimum.

Participate in initial orientation and on-going training including the computer, surveillance, and alarm systems.
