· Document vessel-related activities, including information pertaining to safety, training, operations and the safe navigation of the vessel in the Ship's Log and/or the digital Vessel Information Management System (VIMS).

Requirements
· Current United States Coast Guard (USCG) 50-ton Near Coastal Master license, or equivalent certification/experience from military or Government service.

Work Environment
As a Fighter Pilot, missions and assignments can be anywhere around the globe. This includes working from carrier battle groups, or other sea-based platforms, and at Naval Air Stations or other locations on shore.
Training & Advancement
Those entering aviation programs must first attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI, and then complete a six-week air indoctrination course at Naval Aviation Schools Command, in Pensacola, FL. From there, prospective Fighter Pilots attend primary flight training.
Candidates then request an aircraft pipeline and enter the intermediate phase of flight training, which builds upon basic flight and navigation training. The final phase is advanced naval flight training, focusing on mission specifics. After completion, prospective Fighter Pilots are awarded their "wings of gold" and report to their respective Fleet Replacement Squadrons (FRSs) for further training specific to their aircraft.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Part-Time Opportunities

Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Fighter Pilots in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Fighter Pilots may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
To plan, release and monitor flights in accordance with applicable Federal Regulations and Mountain Air Cargo, Inc. (MAC) policies and procedures
Monitors the status of all company flights from the pre-flight planning, then from the time of departure until the completion of the flight
Work in a Team Environment with a Positive Attitude
Collects and disseminates weather and aeronautical information to Flight Crews
Ensures all ground handling, deicing, fuel, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order prior to releasing a flight
Identifies, anticipates, and takes corrective action to minimize actual/potential delays due to weather, scheduling, operations, crew legality, maintenance issues or any other operational disruption
Advises appropriate personnel of potential/actual delays and conditions affecting safety of flight
Coordinates with Maintenance Control to ensure aircraft status will permit the intended operation to be conducted safely and in accordance with applicable ATC, government regulations, and international policies
Ensures that MEL/CDL limitations or restrictions are evaluated and complied with
Determines airport suitability/risk assessment
Maintains a shift log for recording key data for all assigned flights and missions
Complies with all applicable federal/state health and safety regulations
Performs other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
High-school diploma or GED required
Previous Part 121 airline operations experience preferred
Valid FAA Part 121 Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
Ability to pass a 10-year criminal history and background check
Able to pass a DOT Drug Screen and be enrolled in the company Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Position contributes to the public safety mission by directing daily activities of security supervisors and support staff as shift commander in an institutional setting. Coordinates and reviews the work of others on assigned shift to ensure a safe, secure, and productive environment. Leads, develops, and counsels staff. Minimum Qualifications
