Position Summary City Winery Event Captains will host events in coordination with the Manager on Duty (MOD) to execute the Banquet Event Order (BEO), supervise the staff, coordinate with kitchen and present the greatest standards of hospitality to the client and guests. Overview of Responsibilities Have a complete knowledge of the BEO prior to the event and be responsible for execution of event Provide a full breakout of staff responsibilities 30 minutes prior to event pre-shift, with MOD approval if necessary For events with a Wine Captain, ensure that the Wine Captain is prepped with the beverage needs of the BEO, pull sheet(s), and any coordination they will need to perform with multiple bars, set up and breakdown times for any bars, and tracking of consumption packages as called for by the event.
