As a Controls Technical Specialist I, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, reliability and system control's data credibility of PLC and PC-based automation systems. In this role, you will oversee PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment, and work directly with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support production line modifications.

The Capital Project Manager will serve as the point of contact over all site construction activities for CAPEX projects or one large project using high level communication to inform engineering, the plant staff of site construction and safety activities. They will also have the technical background to prepare and support EWOs, EVM, QIS tools that provide input for project cost reports via SAP. Position supports field technical issue resolution, collaborating with clients and contractors to assist delivering technical as well as non-technical solutions, utilizing their expertise and construction knowledge. Duties may include preparing, coordinating and reviewing process equipment and building drawing packages, managing internal, contract and other resources involved in the pre-design, construction, engineering and supervising, assigning, scheduling, coordinating and evaluating contractor work. Reports issues related to schedule, cost, progress, safety and design directly to project engineering managers, plant project stakeholders, and/or contractor managers. The position is directly accountable for the direct execution, inspection, and quality acceptance of the project per relevant specifications, drawings, scope, schedule and budget.

Manage various resources when executing major capital projects.
Review SAP project details and review and update Microsoft Project, PETPRO, BIM 360, CXAlloy as required. Organize manage and establish asset tracking, tagging, and project close-out activities with facility resources to determine depreciation and final cost transfer.

Prepare and maintain project specific EWO and CO documentation for processing.
Manage field inputs, RFIs, Submittals through CX Alloy or available tool.

HTI is hiring a Master Controls Technician for a Client in the Seneca, SC area. This is a Direct Hire position on 3rd shift paying up to $42.00 Per Hour + $1.50 Per Hour shift differential.

What is Needed & Essential Functions - Master Controls Technician:
• Responsible for the design of mechanical, electrical, and control systems within the department to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Install and develop/program new technology; PLC's (Siemens), HMI, Vision Systems, VFD, and Robotics.
• Enhance existing machine tools and manufacturing processes to increase uptime, improve quality, and boost productivity.
• Support manufacturing by overseeing production equipment and processes, assigning projects and tasks to maintenance/engineering technicians.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives to meet plant-wide requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Support and drive continual improvement programs such as 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Kaizen activities.
• Train production associates and maintenance technicians on new technologies and updated manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to QMS and EMS guidelines.
• Manage capital projects.
• Collaborate with plant, technical support, maintenance, and manufacturing teams to achieve plant goals including safety, quality, productivity, growth, housekeeping, and teamwork.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• High School or GED.
