We're an established local NE Portland custom design and fabrication company built on integrity and dependability. The pay is excellent and we offer an engaging and fun work environment. Our team enjoys great benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k and ROTH investment options. After year one you accrue 20 days of PTO, yep, your read that right! Combined with paid holidays, our benefits are some of the best in our industry. We also pay a $75/day per diem for out of town travel and cover all lodging, airfare and transportation.
Do you have many years of experience with installation of cabinets, retail displays, millwork / casework? Are you seeking a long term opportunity? Join our team and execute successful temporary and permanent installations. There are opportunities for well-versed folks with leadership capability to move into Lead Install positions too!
Check out Axiom's capabilities here --> www.axiomcustom.com. See the breadth of the projects at www.instagram.com/axiomcustom.
You must have knowledge of and experience in the installation of high end products. Every project is different! Use project specifications, drawings and Axiom methods and procedures to get it done!
Our Installers have a keen ability for problem-solving and work with a variety of materials from wood to metal to plastic. They are committed to learning all aspects of our processes. Feeling comfortable and confident is critical, especially onsite. But, with custom products, always come questions - you have to be willing to ask questions.
Some other things you should be comfortable doing include helping to ensure project progress, and if you're highly experienced, training or mentoring fellow installers in the field.
Sometimes installs are local, sometimes folks travel. Length of install varies, but we don't have anyone away from home for a month or more. We'll discuss in the interview. When there is downtime from installs, the Installer must be capable and interested in working on production related work such as fabrication in the shop and preparing for upcoming installs.
Commitment and prompt & open communication are of the utmost importance in this role.
Tell us about yourself and send a resume if you have one. We look forward to meeting you!
