Bussers play a key role in delivering the superior guest service that is central to the mission of Eddie Merlot's. Primary duties include setting and resetting dining room tables, refilling water glasses, and serving bread. Bussers also restock clean plates, silverware, and glassware. Bussers respond to guest needs and partner with Servers, Bartenders, and other team members to ensure that every guest receives outstanding service and hospitality. Responsibilities Complete and pass required training modules - both initial and ongoing. Know your work schedule for the week, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for uniform and professional appearance. Communicate with manager to understand reservations, guest flow, large parties, and special event needs. Set up station and dining room in accordance with standard procedures. Maintain an assigned dining room section, but be available to help in other sections as needed. Bake bread. Serve bread and butter and provide refills. Keep water glasses filled. Follow standards for table maintenance and removal of dishes, glassware, and silverware. Correctly package take-home items and deliver them to guests. When appropriate, thank Guests for dining with us and invite them to return. Bus, set, and re-set tables according to specifications. Perform side duties, closing duties, and other related duties as assigned by Manager(s). Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift. Be knowledgeable enough about Eddie Merlot's to provide basic information to guests. Follow Eddie Merlot's policies, procedures, standards, and performance expectations, as well as applicable laws and regulations related to liquor, food handling, sanitation, and safety at all times. Communicate information regarding guest requests or complaints and ideas for improvement to Managers. May be scheduled to work meetings, banquets, and special events. Maintain a good team-work environment by willingly assisting other team members with their station duties and sidework when there is a need and/or when available.

PURPOSE The Busser is responsible for efficiently clearing, cleaning and resetting tables, while assisting food servers in all aspects of guest table service, maximizing table turns and maintaining restaurant flow. Pink Taco is looking for a FUN, FAIR, HONEST, HARDWORKING, UNPRETENTIOUS AND UNCOMPLICATED individual with a passion for creating an outstanding guest experience. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Clear and reset tables efficiently before, during and after service periods to turn tables Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers and proper table set ups Maintain cleanliness and stock of their assigned areas and side stations Work as a team, assisting all guests' and team members' needs and inquiries Ensure that all necessary stock is being replenished during the shift Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary Clean and dry spills immediately upon occurrence; never leaving spills unattended Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment Ensure that any breakage is reported and recorded Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment Complete opening/running/closing side work duties as assigned Assist teammates with opening/running/closing side work duties upon request Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS High School Diploma preferred Proof of eligibility to work in the United States 18+ years of age Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards Minimum of one (1) years related experience Proper lifting techniques Guest relations Sanitation and safety Full service restaurant operations Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Hourly Rate: $10.00 (+ Tips) Benefits eligible for FT Employees Company Discounts Fun Work Culture WORKING CONDITIONS The working conditions described below are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
