Responsible for removing all the used dishes and tableware and preparing the table in a professional manner for new guests. This role serves to expedite the restaurant floor and seat guests in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Removes all dishes and other items from table following the meal
Cleans and prepares table for new guests in accordance to the Company's standards
Performs cleaning side work as assigned
Completes all service paperwork as required
Supports waiters and kitchen staff in other duties as required
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (dishes, tubs, etc.)
Previous restaurant experience strongly preferred
High energy and stamina are required
Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
Strong verbal communication skills required
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family
Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents
Must have Hawaii Food Handler's Certificate

Job Summary
A restaurant Busser is to support the front-of-house staff and is responsible for setting, clearing, and resetting dining areas of the restaurant. The busser also ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for guests to dine. He or she also assists servers in efficiently servicing their tables.
Responsibilities
Follows all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the “General Policies and Procedures” section of the Bus Person Training Manual.
Maintains a positive attendance record by reporting to work for assigned shifts 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time, switching and finding replacements for no more than 5% of scheduled shifts, following company time off and illness procedures, and having a 0% no-call/no-show record.
Follows all sanitation and safety standards set forth by the company; maintains a score of 90% or better on all sanitation and safety audits.
Meets all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the
Employee Handbook and Bus Person Training Manual.
Maintains our guest service philosophy by following guest service standards; maintains a customer complaint ratio of less than 1 per 100 customers served.
Understands the company table numbering system and is able to identify delegated table assignments 100% of the time.
Greets guests and serves water and bread to the table within 3 minutes of guests being seated.
Performs side-work correctly as specified in the “Side-work Duties” section of the
Bus Person Training Manual.
Follows all end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100% accuracy as specified in the “End of Shift/Checkout Procedures” section of the Bus Person Training Manual and outlined by the company.
Busses, sets, and resets tables following company procedures within 3 minutes of guests leaving their tables.
Maintains a good team environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and side-work when there is a need and/or when available.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old.

POSITION SUMMARY

Job Summary
A restaurant Busser is to support front-of-house staff and is responsible for setting, clearing, and resetting dining areas of the restaurant. The busser also ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for guests to dine. He or she also assists servers in efficiently servicing their tables.
Responsibilities
Follows all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the “General Policies and Procedures” section of the Bus Person Training Manual.
Maintains a positive attendance record by reporting to work for assigned shifts 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time, switching and finding replacements for no more than 5% of scheduled shifts, following company time off and illness procedures, and having a 0% no-call/no-show record.
Follows all sanitation and safety standards set forth by the company; maintains a score of 90% or better on all sanitation and safety audits.
Meets all uniform, appearance, and grooming standards as specified in the
Employee Handbook and Bus Person Training Manual.
Maintains our guest service philosophy by following guest service standards; maintains a customer complaint ratio of less than 1 per 100 customers served.
Understands the company table numbering system and is able to identify delegated table assignments 100% of the time.
Greets guests and serves water and bread to the table within 3 minutes of guests being seated.
Performs side-work correctly as specified in the “Side-work Duties” section of the
Bus Person Training Manual.
Follows all end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100% accuracy as specified in the “End of Shift/Checkout Procedures” section of the Bus Person Training Manual and outlined by the company.
Busses, sets, and resets tables following company procedures within 3 minutes of guests leaving their tables.
Maintains a good team environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and side-work when there is a need and/or when available.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, throughout shift.
Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours in length.
Must possess the manual ability to handle/serve food.
Must have a valid health card or equivalent.
