Bussers/ Food Runners are to help out the servers and bartenders. Bussers/Food Runners serve water, bread, butter, and the amuse to each guest seated in the restaurant. Bussers pre-bus and clean tables, taking plates, silverware, and beverage glasses to the dish room to be cleaned as needed. Bussers keep water glasses full as well as cleaning and setting tables for the next service. Often bussers also participate in the serving of food (as a Food Runner) so they must have knowledge of all table and seat numbers. Bussers/Food Runners should always be attentive to the needs of the guest, and communicate these needs to the server. Bussers/Food Runners also need to have knowledge of the menu so they may assist the guest with any questions they may have about the product we offer.
