ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates a Front End Load commercial/solid waste or recycling collection truck and ancillary equipment on assigned route to commercial container customers, while providing excellent customer service
Deliver solid waste/recyclables to designated disposal/recycling facility
Load solid waste and or recyclables using automated FEL to service 2 yard to 8 yard commercial containers
Properly operates joystick to control front loading arms and forks to connect to container, watching for unintended contact with obstructions around the FEL container
Safely raise the container to unload into the truck hopper, makes sure adequate overhead clearance ensures no contact with structures, power lines, date lines or trees that may cause damage or injury
Practice proper backing procedures after servicing the container using cameras making sure back up alarms are working properly
Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and pickup of containers to ensure timely service
