Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly operations on automotive bumpers following established guidelines and specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately. Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all assembled components meet the company's stringent quality standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets and address any issues that may arise during the assembly process. Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in assembly, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Attention to detail and the ability to follow assembly instructions and specifications. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work occasional weekends based on production needs.

You will be the Aircraft Painter, Paint Technician Level 2 for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Paint Operations Team\. Our team is responsible for Production and Sustainment paint/coating operations on F\-16s and other military aircraft prior to delivery to our customers\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Aircraft Painter, Paint Technician you will be responsible for a variety of essential job functions, such as:
- Interpret marking drawings to accurately apply both major and minor interior/exterior aircraft markings and decals\.
- Prepare aircraft surfaces by washing, cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure they are free from contaminants and ready for high\-quality painting\.
- Utilize various tools such as grinders, sanders, paint guns, and measuring devices to prepare and paint aircraft surfaces, parts, and components\.
- Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment to ensure its operational effectiveness and longevity within the aerospace industry\.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, Foreign Object Debris \(FOD\)\-free work area\.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Candidate must have at least 3 years of Automotive paint applications or 3 years of aircraft paint applications\.
**Desired Skills:**
- Experience in applying Low Observable \(LO\) and Radar Absorbing Material \(RAM\) coatings, including proper surface preparation, basic application techniques, a plus\.
- Experience in laying out simple markings, such as stripes and basic two\-tone surfaces
- Capable of performing comprehensive surface preparation, including sophisticated chemical treatments and abrasive techniques on critical and structural components of aircraft\.
- Capable of performing detailed cleaning processes,
including degreasing and the removal of old paint or corrosion inhibitors, using more advanced techniques and equipment\.
- Capable of performing complex masking tasks, including the use of various masking materials and techniques to achieve precise edges and protect intricate components, without supervision\.
- Capable of operating a variety of painting and PMB equipment, and finishing tools with precision, and measuring proper MIL thickness of coatings\.
- Capable of conducting comprehensive preventative maintenance, including detailed inspections and minor repairs on various painting equipment\.

Surface Preparation & Finishing

Paint Application & Coating Processes
Mix paint colors using in-house color matching systems based on samples or Pantone numbers

We are looking for someone who has experience in either the process of repairing spot damages or refinishing bathtubs. You will use your knowledge of common tub building materials: fiberglass, gel coat, enameled steel and acrylic. We repair damages to tubs that happen during or after installation. We refinish using a roll method that is more efficient, less time consuming but is safer and gives high quality results!
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with your hands - This could be in custodial repair/home improvement, installer, painting, or even a personal hobby. Good hand with roll painting method.
Experience working in facilities maintenance can be a big plus, but is not required.
Ideal experience with resurfacing/refinishing full bath/shower surrounds, applying ratio mixing to paints/resins of additives that enhance quality and finish, color mix and matching when needed.

We refinish using a roll method that is more efficient, less time consuming but is safer and gives high quality results!
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with your hands - This could be in custodial repair/home improvement, installer, painting, or even a personal hobby. Good hand with roll painting method.
* Experience working in facilities maintenance can be a big plus, but is not required.
* Ideal experience with resurfacing/refinishing full bath/shower surrounds, applying ratio mixing to paints/resins of additives that enhance quality and finish, color mix and matching when needed.

As a member of the paint team, a Prep Tech is tasked with various duties that assist in preparing a vehicle to be painted. It is preferred that a Prep Tech/Painter s Helper have a basic understanding of automotive paint principals and a basic knowledge of different paint products.
Essential Job Functions:
Assistance with disassembly and reassembly of body and trim components
Sand vehicles getting ready to be painted
Assist in color matching, blending, and mixing of paint as required by the Paint Technician team
Rub and polish exterior of vehicles
Help inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles to identify and correct paint flaws, imperfections, scratches, and/or blemishes
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver s license
Paint equipment/product knowledge and ability to use polisher/DA/compounds etc.
Some experience in an automotive paint shop or body shop setting preferred
Requires the Following Skills:
Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks
High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
Must be willing to assist peers, teach and help out as well as exude flexibility

Painter Technicians will need to have experience in all aspects of production painting in an industrial environment including but not limited to repairing paint jobs, preparing surfaces to be painted, removing parts that are not to be painted, and controlling factors that determine the success of painting, along with maintaining inventory, inspecting materials to identify problems/defects.
Responsibilities of Position:
Various painting projects may include but are not limited to various types of fleet vehicles, containers, compactors, equipment.
Prepping duties including sanding, scraping, painting, and placing decals.
Maintenance of truck pressure washer including clean up and inventorying supplies.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company, OSHA and ANSI standards.
Ensure all safety decals are on completed jobs.
General maintenance and other related duties.
Maintain painting and/or decaling supplies.
Complete required inventory and paperwork utilizing computer system.
Utilize standard shop hand tools, measuring devices, and equipment.
Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
May assist in other projects or areas of the shop as needed.

Objectives
To repair the vehicle as quickly as possible in a safe and quality manner, with a fit and finish that meets or exceeds the original factory fit and finish. The end result should be an invisible repair.
Technician Responsibilities
Complete all repair assignments according to Repair Planner's estimate.
Always check all the parts for correctness before starting the repair and notify the appropriate person of any incorrect parts or other discrepancies.
Immediately notify the appropriate person of any hidden or missed damage that doesn't appear on the Work Order.
All straightening and repairs should be done according to factory specifications, including door, hood, and deck alignments, chassis and frame measurements, welded-on unibody parts, etc.
Protect the customer's car to prevent damage during the repairs. This includes but is not limited to the use of seat bags, floor mats, car covers, welding blankets, masking paper, or any other practical method to ensure positive results.
Be responsible and accountable for all parts for any jobs that are assigned to you. Be organized and develop a system for holdings the parts and fasteners until they are installed or re-installed on the vehicle.
Apply undercoating, gravel guard, seam sealer, and lubricants as the need presents itself or as listed on the Work Order.
All repairs and painted parts should be completed to the point of "ready for paint" prior to delivering the vehicle to the paint department.
After painting, re-assembly, headlight adjustment, and other final alignments and adjustments prior to the car being delivered should be performed.
Inspect your work and that of others to ensure that the vehicle is delivered with a fit and finish equal or superior to the original factory fit and finish.
Remain conscious of, and make every effort to achieve, the objectives outlined on the delivery list of cars scheduled. Sometimes this requires working overtime to meet the objectives.
Upon completion of a job or nearing completion of a job, advise the production manager and request a new assignment.
Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow employees in a positive spirit of teamwork.
