The benefits offered by the Broad Institute are amazing and really great if you take advantage of all of them. Do your research and reach out to your HR partner to make sure you're using all your perks. Employee resource groups were the only "Pro" of working at the Broad.
Management isn't interested in leading, mentorship or promoting any reports. The pay is awful and far below industry standard. It's laughable, if it weren't so sad. Eric Lander is back, so there's that.
PTO, ERGs, 6% 401K match, free coffee cart when they had it.
CEO was willing to listen, but take no action. The rest of the ELT will say yes to Todd and Eric.
By removing the CEO and Eric from their leadership team and appoint someone else.
Read up about the history of the Broad Institute. Don't pronounce is wrong, it pronounced the"bROAD" like "road" or "Rode".
Poor. 40% pay bump upon leaving the Broad.
They are very low. We didn't have any BIPOC in leadership and definitely not in ELT until the ERGs rallied for a Chief Equity Officer. I was the only queer BIPOC in my entire department.
