I gained knowledge of what its like to have a job. It began my working career and helped me set my standards.
The cons of working at Braums would definitely be the pay. I get called in and 9/10 i get sent out after clocking in for 30 minutes just because they over scheduled. They are not financially stable nor give good benefits.
Serving Ice Cream
I got along with them very well and they helped me understand the tasks at hand.
Become more financially stable and expand horizons.
I showed up and answered their questions truthfully.
The compensation that Braums offers is very poor and below average in comparison to other establishments.
Its there i guess, there definitely could be more though, however.
Getting to serve ice cream to people, helping people that come in, making shakes and food, the whole thing.
As much overtime as you want
Working the kitchen alone in a Friday night. Or being one of 3 employees there during a night lunch rush. Or the fact that the store manager thinks it's alright to put gravy with meat in it that had been sitting out an unknown amount of time in the freezer and serve it later. Or the fact that he thought it was alright to complain to an employee about an extra scoop of Oreos in a mix in front of the customer that got the extra scoop while he is eating hamburgers without paying for them.
Overtime...the 15% discount certainly wasn't that great
