The company also buys and sells products ranging from oil and natural gas to power and financial derivatives; refines, transports, sells, and trades crude oil and petroleum products; offers biofuels; operates pipelines that transport oil, refined products, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and chemicals; and operates wind farms in Texas, Indiana, California, Colorado, South Dakota, Idaho, Kansas, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania. In addition, it produces ethanol from sugarcane; and operates retail sites in the United States. Further, the company operates refineries in Whiting, Indiana; in Blaine, Washington; and Oregon, Ohio. BP America, Inc. was formerly known as BP-Amoco, Inc. The company was incorporated in 1974 and is based in Warrenville, Illinois. It has operations in Alaska, Alabama, California, Chicagoland, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. Pros of working at BP America Inc
The uniforms were comfortable and the displays were updated frequently enough that the information as always up to date for the customers as well as being visually appealing.
Cons of working at BP America Inc
The standards were poor and they seemed to have minimal interest in maintaining a positive representation of their brand within independent establishments beyond advertising updates. Ensuring employees were treated fairly and the establishments were clean seemed to be at the bottom of their list.
