Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Review customer factory order and pull current print to determine required assembly, exterior finish or any special options * Assemble assigned components according to blueprints, assembly drawings and job requirements. * Notify Material Handler of shortage of subassemblies, parts or fasteners are below indicated inventory levels. What you'll need · Good mechanical skills. · Good working knowledge of mechanical tools. · Mathematics - Knows basic shop math, and other functions necessary for the job · Blueprint reading - interprets drawings · Cranes - lifts equipment safely, knows where disconnect switches are, performs daily crane inspections, loads and unloads trucks, stages equipment · Forklift - drive safely, load and unload, refuel, perform daily forklift inspections · Basic computer skills · Work from bills of material, purchasing lists, shipping documents and parts/ shop supplies · Self-motivation to identify, analyze and independently work to find solutions to flow issues is essential. · Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas. · Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks.
