About the Position: The Regional Medical Director is a new and exciting position for BlueWater Health and a product of our continued growth throughout New England. The provider in this role will be assigned to a region within BlueWater of at least 3 clinical sites. They will act as the leader over the Emergency Departments in these sites, with each site-based Medical Director reporting directly to them. Additionally, they will supplement their administrative FTE as a clinical Smokejumper within their region, allocating their clinical time based on need. Specific accountabilities of the leader include but are not limited to the following: Mentorship and leadership support to direct reports. Direct reports are all clinical leaders assigned to Emergency Departments within the region.
