Performs daily cleaning of facility floors to ensure an attractive, clean, and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
Essential Functions:

Position Summary
The Kitchen Supervisor ensures the smooth operation of the culinary department in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and facility policies. This role is critical in providing high-quality meals to patients and residents, maintaining dietary standards, and fostering a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff. The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee culinary staff, assist with food ordering and inventory management, and ensure that all food is prepared and served according to established guidelines.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate food preparation and meal service, ensuring that the nutritional needs and dietary restrictions of senior residents are met.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Supervise and direct culinary staff, filling positions as necessary, and ensuring that staffing levels are adequate during all shifts.
Ensure that portion sizes, recipes, and menu plans are followed to meet both nutritional and resident satisfaction standards.
Monitor the temperature of hot and cold foods throughout preparation and service to ensure safety and compliance with food safety regulations.

Requires repetitive wrist motion. This position requires lifting, up to seventy-five pounds (75lbs).
Physical Demands:
The Dietary Aide stands and walks intermittently throughout the working day, as well as reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, carries, and manipulates various food products, dietary supplies and equipment. The Dietary Aide must have an ability to work with chemicals and cleaning agents. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds and withstand exposure to temperature and humidity changes as in entering refrigerated storage areas, working at ovens, ranges, dish-washing machines, and at steam tables.

Numerical ability is necessary for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals, as well as good motor coordination and manual dexterity are required for various work routines such as preparing food items, serving trays, handling soiled dishes, operating dietary equipment and cleaning work area. The Dietary Aide will be able and willing to work flexible hours, such as during an emergency situation and must be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members.

Summary/Objective:
Provides daily housekeeping services to the residents to ensure a safe, clean and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
Essential Functions:

Closely follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
Cleans floors, including dust mop, wet mop, sweeping and vacuuming.
Cleans furnishings which are both moveable and stationary throughout the facility. Cleans fixtures including restroom, light fixtures, water fountains, etc.
Dusts, disinfects, horizontal surfaces throughout the facility.
Removes trash and cleans/disinfects waste containers.
Cleans and disinfects restrooms in both the resident rooms and public spaces throughout the facility.
Cleans public spaces throughout the facility including corridors, stairwells, elevators, waiting rooms, lobby, etc.
Clean equipment and work areas as assigned by Manager.
