Requirements
Associate or Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
Lifting/Carrying more than 50 lbs. Able to sustain impact to body (i.e., being hit, etc.) in any area. Running, crouching, squatting, and ability to kneel for sustained periods of time. Bending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes. Full range of motion of hands and arms. Sitting on the floor and chair for long periods of time. Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support. Communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and written.

Behavior Technician will complete a training program set by the clinical team to prepare the employee to become a Registered Behavior Technician. Once this exam is passed you will have the responsibilities listed below:

Job Summary
The Part-time Onsite Counselor is responsible for providing behavioral health support for ComPsych's EAP program with employees of our Client, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is accomplished through a combination of in-person individual counseling sessions, supervisor consultations, and other training and promotional activities.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed clinician with great interpersonal skills as well as be empathetic, organized, a strong communicator, and able to think critically. Having a background in social work and/or counseling is a very important part of this position as it will be working closely with individuals from different backgrounds, and experiences, and have varying needs and abilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides in person short-term EAP counseling sessions for employees; apply previous social work and counseling experience
Coordinates with site contacts to participate in health fairs, enrollment and health promoting activities
Provides training and Lunch-and-Learns on behavioral health issues
Participates in behavioral health awareness campaigns
Provides strategy support on program service delivery satisfaction and issue resolution
Provides management consultations and support for behavioral health issues
Provides on-site critical incident debriefings, if indicated
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Master level licensed clinician; social work, counseling, psychology
At least three years of experience as an independently licensed clinician; ideally as a social worker or counselor
On-site EAP experience preferred
Ability to work an onsite schedule: 20 hours/week onsite
