About the Opportunity
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs and supervises the provision of evidence-based mental health services and programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities in response to physician recommendations in home, school and/or other natural settings.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Independently conduct regular home visits for the assigned caseload to:
* Provide individualized parent education
* Supervise the implementation of the program
* Monitor the completion of all necessary documentation
* Provide in-field training to each direct report
* Educate families on the importance of maintaining a consistent schedule with number of hours that are clinically appropriate for the client
* Efficiently and effectively communicating CSD's policies to families

Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of progressively responsible post-master's professional experience teaching, counseling and/or providing therapy to individuals with emotional behavioral, or mental health concerns and/or their families. Of the required three (3) years work experience, at least one (1) year must have included providing ABA services to individuals with disabilities. This behavior-analytic work may have been conducted independently or under the supervision of a qualified behavior analyst per requirements of the BACB or other national credentialing body approved by the State of Hawaii law.
Quality of Experience: Possession of the required number of years of experience will not in itself be accepted as proof of qualification for a position. The applicant's overall experience must have been of such scope and level of responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate that the applicant has the ability to perform the duties of the position for which the applicant is being considered.
Substitution Allowed: Possession of a doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in behavior analysis, education, or psychology may be substituted for all of the Experience Requirement.
License Requirements:

Salary: The advertised salary is based on full-time employment and includes shortage and school year differentials, if applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

Our team is expanding and looking for new team members in support of our Crisis Stabilization Facility - Ekolu!
You will be developing clinically based treatment relationships with persons diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness and helping them integrate into the community using a structured recovery plan: obtaining psychiatrist visits, medications, housing, substance abuse treatment, legal coordination and other services.
You will report to the crisis stabilization facility to work with the mental health clients, work with the treatment team, communicate with stakeholders in the community, and complete vital documentation. Case Mangers also host skill building and recreational groups onsite to aide in client recovery.
This position is onsite in Kaneohe. The facility operates 24/7/365. No on-call is required. This facility is an indoor/outdoor therapeutic environment with ramps, stairs, and gravel/uneven ground.

S ummary of Program and Position:
Voluntary Case Management (VCM) program serves families on Oahu who have been referred by Child Welfare Services (CWS) after a report to the Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline has been made and the family has been identified as moderate to moderate high risk. Each family will be assigned a case manager who will address the range of family system issues that place children at risk of child abuse and neglect. They may also be assigned a skill builder who will work with the family to increase skills such as, but not limited to, parenting skills, co-parenting skills, problem solving skills, and stress management skills.
The Social Services Assistant will provide outreach services to families in the Voluntary Case Management Program and provides hands-on, individual or group, culturally appropriate sessions that may include parenting, practical life skills, role modeling, nutrition, and planning. Additionally, they will provide administrative and clerical support to the management and staff of the VCM Program and provide back-up support to the Administrative Assistant. This position is under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor.
What you will be doing:
Provides home visits or community-based visits to families referred to the program, focusing on parenting, problem solving, and communication skills and assisting the client in reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors.
Perform the usual clerical duties such as word processing including report reporting, correspondence, telephone and in-person reception, filing, data entry, record maintenance, faxing, and timely and accurate data entry into PACT's eHana and/or assigned program's data system.
Maintains confidentiality and tracks family files and family related information such as immunization records and medical home; responds to calls from referred clients explains the scope of service and/or the waitlist process; calls clients to cancel visits when necessary; and documents client contact in client records. Maintains client files from intake to discharge, including the insertion of external documents; providing information to funders as requested; and ensuring completeness of the client file at the end of service.
Responsible for implementing parenting curriculum, knowledge of community resources available and to do warm hand-offs to service provider and understand how substance abuse and domestic violence affect families. Responsible for supporting families in completing goals on the IPP to reach permanency.
Conducts assessments and observation forms in accordance with funder and state guidelines, and PACT's policies and procedures.
Accurately completes clear, concise and non-judgmental written and electronic documentation, such as initial assessments, monthly updates, and closing reports, and ensuring that all paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Regularly consults with the VCM Case Manager and/or Program Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field plus a minimum of one (1) years relevant experience, required, OR
2. High School diploma plus a minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience under the close supervision of personnel who at minimum has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, and/or a related field.
3. One (1) year of experience working in the area of child abuse and neglect prevention, including domestic violence and substance abuse issues, required.
