Responsibilities

● Provide initial corrective feedback to RBTs, when needed, as part of progressive disciplinary action procedures.

● A Master's degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices

Complete daily notes following the conclusion of each session and upload them into relevant databases.

Flexibility to work at multiple locations throughout the work day.

Reviews all written records for accuracy and compliance with funding requirements for billable services.
Arrives to work at least 15 minutes early to prepare classroom for activities, and stays until last child is picked up unless other arrangements are approved by supervisor.
Prepares curriculum each week, and implements daily scheduled activities for the children.
Develops/assists in development of reports/lesson plans, and instructional materials.
Prepares any necessary documentation for Mental Health Program i.e. billing, notes, etc.
Attends any scheduled planning meetings, etc. that assist in the maintaining of services if applicable.
Performs, in addition to those indicated specifically, such other duties and related assignments as may be required in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Train new RBTs and RBT candidates

In addition to paid training, InBloom also covers the cost of assessments, exams, and supplementary study material. Upon successful completion of our training program and passing of the RBT certification exam, trainees may be offered a permanent position with InBloom.

Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA/BCaBA to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, such as homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.
Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the supervising BCBA/BCaBA to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and make necessary adjustments to the intervention plan when required.
Behavior Reduction Techniques: Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.
Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
Professionalism: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
Documentation: Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes in a timely manner.
Communication: Maintain open communication with the BCBA/BCaBA, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.
Qualifications

Early education, special education, childcare, or personal experience
Passion for working with children and helping others
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field is a plus
Reliable transportation, driver's license, insurance, and smartphone
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in both English and Spanish
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members
Work environment
Must be able to travel to our InBloom Center for duration of internship

Physical demands
Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive behavior and de-escalate situations with clients.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/or sitting in order to interact with clients.
Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility.
Adequate vision and hearing are needed to work with clients and staff.
Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment and other necessary tools.
