Your Role: Case Manager - Legal Assistant Team Lead (Construction Defect)
As a Case Manager in the Construction Defect group, your responsibilities will include:
🔹 Construction Litigation Case Oversight: Managing high-volume, multi-defendant cases involving complex construction defect claims. Oversee timelines for pleadings, discovery, inspections, and expert deadlines.
🔹 Legal Document Support: Draft, proof, and organize legal documents such as defect allegations, expert disclosures, indemnity demands, and pre-trial materials.
🔹 Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day oversight, training, and mentorship to a team of legal assistants supporting the construction defect team. Ensure adherence to firm processes and case handling standards.
🔹 Expert & Client Coordination: Liaise with attorneys, clients, experts (engineers, contractors, architects), and co-defendants to coordinate site inspections, discovery responses, and case strategies.

What You Bring to the Construction Defect Team
✔️ Experience: 10+ years as a Case Manager, Senior Legal Assistant, or Litigation Paralegal in Insurance Defense; OR 5+ years focused specifically in Construction Defect Litigation (preferred).
✔️ Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing legal support staff and legal operations in a high-volume, fast-paced practice.
✔️ Knowledge: Familiarity with construction defect litigation, including building codes, defect causation, subcontractor coordination, and expert witness support.
✔️ Skills:

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for conducting indirect and direct assessment of participant's behaviors to assist in developing ABA treatment plans and Functional Behavior Assessments. The BCBA is responsible for providing consultation and training to others in the use of behavioral intervention strategies. The Behavior Analyst will:
Management of cases that includes communicating with parents/caregivers and other therapists to address issues such as data collection, graphing, programmatic decisions, supervision, etc.
Design acquisition and deceleration programs, treatment plans, data sheets, and graphs to meet goals for each assigned patient.
Conduct ongoing assessments as required by the individual patient.
Develop training materials that are up to date with current technologies in the field as needed and present during staff trainings.
Meet scheduling and billing requirements as outlined in the budget for parent training, program modification, assessments, and direct hours.
Complete required clinical outcome data tracking requirements (e.g., supervision, IOA, Treatment Integrity, Huddles, supervision monitoring, etc.)

Submit treatment and parent progress reports as determined by clinic requirements.
Ensure data and charting (i.e., session notes) for all assigned cases are updated and accurate as determined by clinic requirements.
Attend all weekly staff meetings and case reviews. Present training topic in staff meetings.
Conduct individual teaching sessions for each patient as assigned.
Assist in supervising, training, providing feedback, and monitoring staff as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) working with clients.

Modify any programs that are not making progress or that the client has mastered.
Conduct assessments not limited to the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, or AFLS upon intake and every 6 months, thereafter.
Track all authorizations dates for clients and update all treatment plans before authorizations expire.
Monitor and adjust behavior plan throughout treatment period in accordance with the child's progression.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as needed.
Participate in bi-weekly BCBA group meetings and monthly 1:1 meeting with the Clinical Integrity Officer (CIO) to discuss client progress or concerns.
Provide regular parent/caretaker training
Maintain knowledge of different programs and certifications through CEU events.
Assist with scheduling
Provide direct coverage as needed
Be present in the center during business hours
Assist with any clinical needs as they arise
Support kiddos and RBTs with a minimum of 28 impact weekly hours

Provide initial corrective feedback to RBTs, when needed, as part of progressive disciplinary action procedures.

Education and Experience
BACB Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
A Master's degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices
Possess extensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis.
Previous experience in supervision preferred.
