We are located in Wilkes-Barre Twp, PA and operate year-round. Our clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. We are closed on all federal holidays. Elite ABA Therapy, LLC specializes in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, which are the most widely known evidence-based practices for teaching new skills and improving behavior. Our goal is to optimize our clients' independence and promote social integration by teaching meaningful and socially significant skills in the least restrictive environment. Our clinic is designed to simulate an Early Intervention-like setting, but without academic curriculum. Teaching is completely individualized and based on the client's needs identified in their treatment plan. Clients receive 1:1 individual services but are grouped with up to 7 other children to simulate a classroom. Each group of children follow a daily schedule of activities that include both individual and group formats. Individual activities include direct instruction of skill acquisition programs specified in the client's individualized treatment plan, such as teaching communication skills. Group activities include circle time, structured play groups, and planned activities (music, arts and crafts, etc.) to work on social skills and generalizing learned skills to group settings. The daily schedule is designed for 3 different sessions per day; the morning session from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the second session from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm., and the after-school session from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. BCBA Service Role and Responsibilities: Board-Certified Behavior Analysts and assistants will be responsible for clinical operations that include conducting RBT trainings, competency assessments, supervision, conducting client functional behavior assessments, writing treatment plans, submitting plans for insurance approval, setting up client treatment goals in practice management software, conducting norm-referenced assessments (VB-MAPP), standardized assessments (Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales and others), designing and updating individualized DTT programs for each client, training RBT's on implementation of the DTT program, reviewing client data, reviewing RBT session notes, writing daily session notes for billable sessions, and conducting monthly caregiver training (can be done during the client's regularly scheduled session at the clinic or in the home setting). Provide modeling, guidance, and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Autistic Educational Support Staff (AESS) in the delivery of intervention packages. Work closely with Teachers and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to student support. Gather data and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Attend weekly meetings with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Program Administration to notify stakeholders of issues impacting student progress and overall care. Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic interventions. Document all services provided, student progress, and other relevant information in accordance with Behavioral Health Associates policies and legal requirements. Respond positively to supervision and suggestions for improvement. Employ restorative practices throughout the school community. Work to stay current in subject and content area of instructional techniques and the field of ABA. Perform other duties as assigned by administration. QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, School Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university, required. Behavior Specialist License, required. Minimum 1 year of experience conducting FBA's, familiarity with common assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, EFLs, AFLS, etc.), and developing/implementing behavioral support plans for individuals under 21 years of age. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and leadership team, while maintaining professional boundaries. Positively represent and promote BHA services to outside organizations. Maintain confidentiality in all matters, including the dissemination of information regarding program development, staffing, and billing. Ability to work both independently and as a team. Communicate effectively utilizing both written and oral communication. Basic computer literacy with Microsoft/Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
