What You Will Do Craft a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, following recipes and customer preferences. Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other necessary supplies. Efficiently manage drink orders, prioritize tasks during peak hours, and ensure timely service to both bar and table guests. Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and provide change and receipts as needed. Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations, verifying the legal drinking age, and ensuring responsible service of alcoholic beverages. Promote specials, new menu items, and premium beverages to increase sales and enhance the customer experience. Actively seek and respond to customer feedback, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Work closely with other staff members, including servers, kitchen personnel, and management, to coordinate orders and provide seamless service. Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages, replenishing stock as needed and assisting with regular inventory checks. Stay informed about current beverage trends, new products, and mixology techniques to continuously enhance drink offerings. Ensure that bar equipment, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized regularly, maintaining a hygienic and safe environment. Contribute to the overall ambiance of the establishment by creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests. About You 2+ years bartender experience in a fine dining, high volume setting. Proficiency in mixing and preparing a variety of drinks with precision and creativity. Flexibility to adapt to different drink preferences, customer demands, and changing work environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage waitlist dynamics effectively. Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems for order entry and payment processing.
