What You'll Do
Bend, cut, bundle and load reinforcing steel bars in accordance with customer's orders. You'll work with a mentor who will train you on safely using all machinery.
Your Responsibilities
• Unload trailers and store material in storage bins.
• Operate a shearing machine or a power saw to cut reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths, and a bending machine to bend reinforcing steel bars to specified shape.
• Operate overhead crane to move, assemble and select material to be fabricated or shipped.
• Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.

PURPOSE
This position will operate as both the Parts and Service Manager at the Hope Mills location. This position will be responsible for effectively coordinating activities within these departments, maximizing return on investments, controlling expenses, and ensuring safe work practices that will lead to optimal work efficiency and growth of the branch. The Service/Parts Manager will work to ensure excellent customer satisfaction, to attract and retain talent, and to effectively engage with customers within the branch.
BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Department
• Answers telephone calls from customers when they are experiencing mechanical/technical problems with equipment. Leads the Service Department in determining the complaint, cause of failure, and correction needed to properly repair equipment to customers' satisfaction.
• Manages the technicians and their workload to produce desired customer experience and tech performance goals.
• Develops, maintains, and adheres to a priority system for scheduling all service work, both customer and internal requests.
• Executes the Repair Order process which involves the reviewing the time required for repair, posting parts used during the job, and processing the final invoice presented to the customer for payment.
• Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to technicians according to their mechanical skills and knowledge. Common repairs involve gasoline engines, diesel engines, transmissions, etc., with a focus on turf equipment.
• Schedules efficient and timely pickup/delivery of customer units both for sales delivery and for repair.
• Ensures that Service Department is equipped with the necessary special tools and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order.
• Ensures that all manufacturer Warranty and Product Improvement Programs are completed according to manufacturer's requirements.
Parts Department
• Develops, communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Executes Parts Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals.
• Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures.
• Assists with counter sales to support customer needs, as needed.
• Submits parts warranty claims and parts return claims on QEConnect within the required time frame to receive maximum credits allowed.
• Promotes and merchandises parts and accessories as required to achieve budgeted parts sales.
• Performs other managerial duties, as required, and location functionality duties, as needed.
Other Duties
• Reviews all management reports necessary to audit the performance of both departments and their assigned employees.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Electrician
Position Summary:
This person will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical support in response to operational changes resulting from the malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement or other modifications of existing and new mechanical systems and/or equipment.
Essential Duties, Functions, and responsibilities:
Maintain facility equipment utilizing critical thinking and advanced troubleshooting skills.
Follows all work safety policies and guidelines.
Completes all electrical/mechanical work that is needed in the facility.
Preform PM procedures that reduce down-time and improve overall performance.
Complete all work orders as assigned.
Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices, product standards, and guidelines.
Uses electrical schematics to troubleshoot.
Is familiar with Allen Bradely hardware, software, and drives.
Ability to work in a team or stand alone, with or without direct supervision.
Must be willing to train associates and receive training.
Maintains a clean and organized area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
Utilize LOTO as required when by passing guards or servicing a piece of equipment.
Punctual set up/tear down of assigned equipment on daily basis.
Perform emergency equipment repairs either alone or with assistance from other mechanics or team coordinators.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Have an electrical license or other certifications.
Understand and troubleshoot control voltage and line voltage.
Understanding and utilizing industry electrical prints.
Effective PLC maintenance and troubleshooting.
Understands Vacuum theory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
Follow diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturing instructions.
Must be able to troubleshoot malfunctions in timely manner and find resolution.
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
Must pass a background check, drug screen.
Must be able to read and write.
Need to be familiar in SPC, HACCP, GMP'S SSOP'S and USDA.
Computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Physical Requirements:
Constant standing and walking (8 hours or more per day)
Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more).
Reaching overhead.
Working from a ladder of raised platform.
Reaching below knees.
Ability to reasonably multitask.
Working with electricity, tools, and wiring.
Completing required paperwork in timely manner.
Using material handling equipment as needed.
Working Conditions/Department Description:
Work in damp and cold environment as needed.
Work with loud and noisy machinery as needed.
Work in dusty environment when using spice as needed.
Work with raw meat as needed.
Work in congested areas as needed.
Work in tight spaces to complete work.
