Foster good working relationships with Catering, Sales, Culinary and other Banquet Team Members. Provide attentive service, focusing on guests' needs. Knowledge of complete menu and work stations prior to function. Knowledge of proper table settings. Ensure that proper service and etiquette is maintained at all times. Keep the kitchen work areas clean at all times. Ensure Banquet facilities are safe and secure upon completion of shift. Adhere to the company employee handbook at all times. Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service oriented manner. Guests must feel welcome, comfortable, and well attended to at all times. Handle complaints, arbitrate disputes and resolve grievances by working with guests to ensure satisfaction. Take initiative and get creative in resolving guest challenges and involve a supervisor when needed. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working. Weekend Breakfast Attendant The host/hostess is responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting complimentary breakfast atmosphere for our hotel guests. The host/hostess must take personal ownership for preparing and serving the complimentary breakfast. The host/hostess must have a sense of personal responsibility and ownership for the hotel, the guests, and the overall quality of service delivered by every area of the hotel. Arrive to work on time and give advance notice when absence is anticipated.
