Provides professional, courteous, and efficient customer service. Opens new deposit accounts and process all types of teller transactions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Sells and delivers multiple deposit and consumer loan products and services to new and existing customers by assessing the needs of the customer and determining which services can best satisfy those needs. Contact current bank customers to ask for new business. Maintain a sales cultural at all times to meet the goals and performance standards established for the branch and bank operations. Ensures all accounts are opened and loan documents are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures that proper records are maintained accurately and information is entered on the appropriate systems and records are routed to the appropriate departments. Process deposits to checking and savings accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for endorsement and negotiability and enters the transaction into the teller terminal. Cashes checks and pays money from checking and savings accounts. Verifies signatures and customer account balances. Processes transactions for various bank products and services including loan payments, safe deposit boxes, cashier's checks, savings bonds, cash advances etc. Receives and processes loan payments. Completes consumer loan applications and submits for approval. Has a thorough working knowledge of all bank and branch goals, policies and procedures. Has expertise of all deposit products and services. Is aware of all current marketing and advertising promotions. NECESSARY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Knowledge of bank products and services. Knowledge of bank policies and operating procedures. Thorough knowledge of teller and new account operations to answer questions and resolve problems Basic understanding of the on-line computer system to enter and retrieve information and the ability to operate various officer equipment such as adding machine, coin counter, coin roller, money counter, copy machine and typewriter. Basic understanding and ability of Microsoft office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel. The ability to work well with others and communicate with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to manage personal finances. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent work experience. Six month's teller experience or equivalent customer service and/or cash handling experience. Previous sales experience preferred.

We are seeking an individual who provides top customer service, possesses previous cash handling experience, and places a high level of importance on confidentiality. Schedule: Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:45am to 5:45pm; Rotating Saturdays: 8:15am to 12:15pm Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities * Consistently provides high quality client service while effectively processing transactions and supporting sales. * Records all transactions, prepares daily settlements of teller cash, and proofs transactions according to branch procedures. * Processes transactions for various bank products and services including the following: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier checks, money orders, and credit card cash advances. * Performs clerical duties such as answering calls, processing incoming mail and deliveries, filing, and typing. Experience and Education * Four to six month's teller experience, or equivalent client service and/or cash handling experience. * Previous sales experience, preferred. * In pursuit of high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
