Job Summary: The teller is a critical forward-facing role that must have excellent customer service skills, accurate mathematic arithmetic, and the ability to present themselves professionally. Tellers are often the first interaction a customer has with American Bank, and through a positive caring attitude long-term relationships between customers and the bank can form and possibly flourish. Tellers handle many different retail processes such as deposits or withdrawals and must be able to learn new technology systems that aid efficiency and accuracy.

Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Teller is to provide courteous, professional, quality service to customers of American Bank through both the lobby and drive-up customer service stations. The primary duties of the Teller are to:
Represent American Bank to the customer in a courteous, professional manner.
Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing transactions.
Answer phone calls promptly, delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer caller experience.
Receive checks and cash for deposit to savings and checking accounts, verify deposit amounts, examine checks for endorsement and negotiability, and enter transactions into bank records via an on-line teller terminal
Cash checks and pay money from savings and checking accounts upon verification of signatures and customer account balances. Inspect all checks, bonds, money orders, savings withdrawals, etc. to determine their negotiability.
Accept loan payments of all types ensuring that payments equal the amount due and that all late charges, if applicable, are collected.
Sell bank products for fee income. Some examples include:
Money Orders
Statement Copies
Cashier Checks
Photocopies
Stop Payments
Gift Cards
Redeem cash items for deposit or cash, such as Savings Bonds.
Promote bank services and cross-sell bank products.
Provide information for customers regarding accounts and products upon proper verification.
Balance cash and negotiable items.
Satisfactorily complete all required compliance bank training and comply with all regulations which apply within the scope of the position.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to the Teller are:
Combination and/or key control.
Opening and processing night depository, ATM and/or cash dispensers.
Control of negotiable instruments.
Internal audit of cash and negotiable instruments.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.
Competencies:
Ability to portray a professional image and provide prompt and friendly quality service to all customers.
Ability to open, close and perform maintenance on all deposit account products.
Balancing cash within the designated guidelines.
Proficient and effective operation of the telephone system; bank computer system including Microsoft Word, Excel, Jack Henry, and E-Mail; calculator; and photocopier.
Interpersonal skills to represent American Bank in a positive manner.
Working Conditions:
Physical requirements include standing for long periods when providing customer service, sitting, walking and must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. waist high and 20 lbs. shoulder high.
Work environment is indoors in a clean atmosphere with normal noise levels.
Ability to work under pressure is required.
Exposed to a potentially hazardous condition - robbery. Receives detailed instructions and procedures to be followed to minimize the risk.
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift with one hour lunch between the hours of 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.
Travel Requirements:
Primary work assignment will be in the Livingston branch; employees should agree to go to any other location requested by management, with the understanding that such temporary re-assignment will require the use of your personal vehicle. If requested to spend the entire day at a non-primary location, American Bank will pay for time spent traveling which is inclusive from the time an employee leaves home to the time returned to home. In addition, any time that one uses their personal vehicle, in such travel, American Bank will reimburse mileage at the current designated IRS mileage reimbursement rate.

SUMMARY
The Teller II will be responsible for daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive-up locations of the branch. This position is also responsible for the delivery of outstanding customer service and for developing and maintaining client relationships by recognizing referral opportunities for additional Retail products and other lines of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides customer account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, recording night and mail deposits, and selling cashier's checks, traveler's checks and savings bonds.
* Answers customer's questions in person and/or on the telephone.
* Records customer account transactions by logging cashier checks, travelers' checks, and other special services; prepare currency transaction reports.
* Cross-sells bank products by answering inquiries, informing customers of new services and product promotions, ascertaining customer needs, and directing customers to a branch representative.
* Completes special customer requests by closing accounts, taking orders for checks, opening and closing Christmas and vacation clubs, exchanging foreign currencies, and providing special statements, copies, and referrals.
* Completes safe-deposit box procedures.
* Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins, reconciling loan coupons and other transactions, turning in excess cash and mutilated currency to Teller Group Leader, and maintaining supply of cash and currency.
* Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions, maintaining customer traffic surveys, auditing other teller currency, and assisting in certification of proof.

Service Contract Associate 121327 Zurich North America is hiring multiple Service Contract Associate's to join our Vehicle Service Contract team! We are open to hiring talent for various virtual positions to work a shift between the hours of 7am - 8pm Pacific Standard Time.
With direct supervision, investigates, evaluates, and concludes low exposure, low complexity, mechanical breakdown claims by following established protocols to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a customer-centric claims service.
Determines causes of failures and reviews specific contract language to apply applicable coverage for loss.
Provides technical support to external sales staff and communicates primarily with service shops, dealership personnel, and claimants to gather information and resolve claims.
Service Contract Associates are responsible for a variety of tasks: + Field incoming calls from dealerships, service shops, and inspectors regarding low exposure, low complexity, mechanical breakdown claims.
+ Determine applicable contractual coverage and most appropriate replacement/repair solution.
+ Work to have a timely resolution to claims by negotiating costs and labor hours associated.
+ Ensure customer service by proactively communicating information, responding to inquiries, and following customer protocols.
