Duties & Responsibilities
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 12:15pm working minimum of 4 days per week; 25 - 29 hours per week.
Facilitate an excellent customer service experience, while maintaining confidentiality & professionalism
Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling.
Refer customers to bankers, allowing for further discovery of products and services that might be valuable
Balance cash drawer, daily, with high degree of accuracy.
Appropriately gain manager assistance (Ex: should suspicious transaction activity be spotted, or additional clearance is needed for transaction amount/type.)
Scanning work for image branch capture.

The Day to Day as a Teller
Tellers are one of the primary points of contact for SCU members. They are the first, and often only face our members see. A typical day will look like:
Provides one or more of the following services for members, in person, by telephone or by mail:
Processes deposits to share, share draft, and other savings accounts.
Disburses cash or check withdrawals.
Provides money orders, Visa cash advances.
Receives loan payments and service charge payments for services.
Process transfers between accounts as required.

Operates on‑line teller terminal and accurately records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.

Foster and maintains relationships with members responsible for providing prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous member service.
