Construction Project Manager

Surf Thru Express Car Wash is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various car wash projects, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage construction, equipment installation, and operational processes for new or renovated car wash facilities. This is an onsite role in Bakersfield, CA.
Responsibilities
Oversee the construction, installation, and operational processes to ensure high-quality standards are met. Conduct inspections and audits of the car wash facility to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and contractors.
Ensure that all project activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify potential challenges and implement solutions to keep the project on track. Address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, tracking progress and identifying any areas of concern. Maintain accurate project documentation for future reference.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
4+ years of construction project management, preferably in commercial retail construction.
Experience managing a variety of projects in different phases of the construction process.
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management tools.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification a plus; not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
Experience with budgeting and cost control.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to think on your feet.
Ability to travel to project sites as needed (50% travel)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
