Colossus Bread in Long Beach, CA is looking for one EXPERIENCED baker to join our passionate morning bakery team! Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working. This opening is for our morning bakery team, applicants must have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be available to work shifts 8 hour shifts ranging from 3 AM-11 AM daily. Our morning bakers start early and are responsible for baking and finishing all of our house croissants, scones, cookies and artisan sourdough breads. Our mixers are responsible for mixing our house sourdough breads in addition to baguette, challah, danish rye + focaccia. All morning bakers contribute to the shaping of our sourdough loaves, experience with high hydration sourdough is a huge plus!
