As a Baker, you will be responsible for following recipes and yield guides. Position Status: Full-Time Swing, 2:00PM-10:00PM Responsibilities PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare dishes, follow the recipe and yield guides. Assist in decorating cakes and pastries. Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. Ensure all requisitions are processed properly and placed in the designated area. Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation. Set up and break down the workstation. Regularly runs for food and restocks all kitchen supplies and food items required for service. Communicate, direct and assist management, chef, and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of baking experience. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. WORKING CONDITIONS This role includes frequent standing and bending. Constant walking, reaching, balancing, and grasping items in a food preparation area. It also includes lifting carrying and pushing up to 50 lbs.
