    We are seeking a highly skilled analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. The Financial Planning Analyst position is integral to our corporate financial forecasting and analysis efforts, supporting strategic planning, management decision-making, and corporate objectives. This role requires a blend of analytical, evaluative, creative, and advisory skills to provide management with essential financial data necessary for setting and achieving financial goals. Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to forecast corporate performance. Maintains/modifies the Company's financial forecasting model to reflect current and future operations. Reviews the results of the forecasting model for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness. Researches, analyzes and recommends action on capital investment, projects/programs, and other related financial issues. Provides financial analysis for special projects as needed. Determines required levels of analysis needed for key issues requested to be reviewed and develops a recommendation and/or proposal based on that analysis. Works collaboratively across the organization; including, but not limited to Accounting, Tax, Regulatory Affairs, Treasury, and Operations. Provide advisory support to management on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate financial insights and recommendations to management. As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders such as operators to develop designs that allow for safe operation and maintenance of Avista's generation assets. Responsibilities Design improvements to generating electricity. Specify, evaluate and purchase electrical equipment such as AC and DC panelboards, switchgear, motor control centers, batteries, chargers, UPS systems, generators, auxiliaries, transformers, breakers, busbar, cabling and balance of plant systems. Lead, create, modify and review generation station design, drawings including one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, protection and control schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, physical layouts, and construction details. Provide field engineering and commissioning support during construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Track and update electrical equipment, load lists, and panel schedules. Perform/review electrical studies including load, short circuit, low voltage protection and arc flash. Manages engineering projects and issues of increasing complexity, size, and number of projects. Develops creative solutions and builds business case to implement those solutions. Respond to technical data requests from utility commissions or other agencies. Engage in internal or community support activities, including community volunteerism, engagement with utility industry groups, or participation in internal Avista resource groups, initiatives, or councils. Team Leadership: Promote a Culture of Dam Safety internally and externally while remaining actively connected and engaged in both the Utility and Dam Safety industries. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior civil and dam safety engineers, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and professional development. Required Qualifications Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited Engineering Program.
