If the client has multiple locations, this role travels between client locations where we've installed audio visual equipment, performing on-site service on equipment that's malfunctioning and conference room support. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Responsibilities Provide on-site support for trouble shooting service needs related to their audio-visual equipment. Maintain up-to-date verified firmware and modify systems to optimize performance. Recommend presentation and conference technology solutions that promote both client and UTGs objectives. Perform weekly operational testing of installed audio-visual equipment and make any necessary repairs. Complete tickets in a timely manner within the client's ticketing system, maintaining SLAs. Communicate with OEM on unresolved issues with audio-visual equipment. Obtain return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) from manufacturers on unrepairable products. Provide support for key meetings/conferences. Work extended or modified hours during special events and holidays to provide adequate support for our clients. Responsibly operate the company van and gas credit cards. Other duties as assigned (Based on managed services agreement with our client.) The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for (1) pulling and terminating cables; (2) understanding cable flow and installation; (3) install equipment and wall rack equipment reading wire diagrams: and (4) programing proprietary equipment for the Company's clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Dress, label, pull, cut and terminate cables Installs, connects, and manages video routers and switches. Installation of cameras Identify cable types including, but not limited to: SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, DVI Mounts and dresses display of various sizes including wall panels. Programs various equipment. Troubleshoot client complex audio-video equipment. The candidate's role will include the set up, operation and removal of basic audio visual equipment, and great face-to-face interactions with both meeting customers and hoteliers (also our customers). This position will also, upon qualifications, include the set-up, operation, and striking of higher end event equipment such as intelligent lighting equipment, digital audio consoles, and HD projection/video switching. The team member should be friendly, flexible to change at a moment's notice, be cognizant of the importance of safety for customers and their teammates, and genuinely enjoy serving others. Technical skills are important, but just as, if not more important, are customer service skills, energy, positive attitude, and drive. The candidate needs to be able to spend at least 8 hours a day on their feet, lift at least 25lbs above waist height, be able to travel to other venues, and have some MAC and Windows experience.
