What You'll Do
As our Laundry Attendant, you'll sort, wash, press and fold bedding and towels using our equipment. In addition, you'll:
Sort soiled linen by type and clean according to directions and standards.
Ensure linens are available for guest rooms and public areas in a timely fashion.
Organize linens by type and load onto carts neatly.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of laundry area by emptying lint traps, taking out trash, and cleaning all areas to ensure they adhere to our hotel standards.
Notify maintenance with any equipment issues.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time

Job Responsibilities
• Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation.

Responsibilities include receiving correct payment from the public for pool entry and concession sales, checking passes, preparing hot and cold food and beverages for sale, cleaning the snack bar and assigned pool areas, answering the phone, participating in assigned roles for emergency action plans, providing excellent customer service, enforcing pool entry rules, answering questions from the public.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete opening and closing duties as instructed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to add and subtract correctly
Willingness to learn how to operate a cash register and credit card reader
Ability to follow and adhere to all food handling guidelines for food preparation, serving, and facility and equipment cleaning, for all items on the menu
Ability to communicate effectively and politely with co-workers, supervisors and the public
Ability to follow emergency action plan training and respond within the scope of their training
Willingness to work assigned schedule, follow pool policies related to attendance, absence and substitutions
COMPENSATION:
Starting hourly rate: $9.35
