Position Overview As Motor Pool Attendant, your role is to attend to a fleet of regularly used college vehicles. You will be responsible for the cleanliness and general care of the vehicles to ensure they are comfortable and presentable as state owned vehicles that are seen by the general public. The care of our fleet is important as vehicles are used by staff, faculty, and members of our leadership to aid in general operations and instructional trips. Teamwork: Assist with housekeeping in rooms as needed and daily completion of laundry duties and public space needs. Flexible for covering employee shifts as needed to ensure operational continuity in the event of unexpected absences. Emergency Procedures: Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met. Other Duties as Assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1 years' experience in hotel leadership, including front desk and back-of-house operations. Proficient computer skills. Strong team building skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proactive in solving problems. Physical Requirements: Repetitive climbing of stairs and occasionally ladders. Perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending and twisting for long periods of time.
