Job responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) include and are not limited to: Assisting CNAs in performing ADL and routine care. Conducting resident/patient treatments. Administering medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care. Submitting pharmacy orders. Accurately documenting and recording all information. Giving injections of medication as prescribed. Observing resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians. Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight. Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging. Managing IVs, starting IV drips. Monitoring fluid/food intake and output. Observing and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin breakdowns. Assisting as directed in the admissions process. Deliver safety spiels to guests on proper rider posture and water park rules and policies. Act as a first responder to keep guests safe. Assist guests in and out of rafts and cycle through the line safely and efficiently. Calculate the proper dispatch interval between riders. Provide guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience. Keep ride patios and midways clean and looking great. How You Will Do It: Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our water slides! Will complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification. Pass ride certification tests with 100% accuracy. Attend regularly scheduled in-service shifts to maintain skill level and license validity. Understand basic rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR. Strong attention to detail, not easily distracted, and commitment to safety. Friendly, outgoing personality. Positive attitude to make guests excited about their ride or swim. Must react well in stressful and emergency situations. What You Will Need: Must be 16 years or older. Must not be afraid of heights. Excellent verbal communication skills. Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Note: This is not intended to be all inclusive.
