Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for operating range cart and ball bag to clean up driving range each day as well as sort, wash, and store range balls. * Responsible for bringing up, taking down, and cleaning golf carts. * Responsible for checking oil, gas, steering, and brakes periodically and keeping record of monthly scheduled maintenance on the carts. * Assists in setting up and taking down banquet room and snack bar to prepare and clean up for banquets, outings, and meetings as instructed by Supervisor. * Assists in re-stocking concessions stands when assigned by Supervisor. * Assists in enforcing rules and policies of the Fairview Golf Course. * Pick up trash in clubhouse/parking lot areas as assigned by Supervisor. * Acts as gatekeeper and concessionaire by taking money for fees or concessions as needed. * Responsible for handling cash received and making change when needed to assist the Shift Leader and assigned by Supervisor. * Assists in set up and clean up of concession stand and surrounding areas, patios, locker rooms, restrooms, snack bar, and cart shed areas. * Performs all other related duties as assigned. Material and Equipment Directly Used Uses a variety of equipment included, but not limited to, cash register, calculator and food preparation equipment such as coffee maker, fryers and microwaves. Uses a variety of equipment for light cleaning purposes such as mops, brooms and other general cleaning supplies. Use of equipment such as golf carts, range picker cart to pick driving range and ball washer to wash balls. There may be times when use of personal vehicle may be required. Working Environment/Physical Requirements Work is primarily performed in a sheltered concession building under a range of extreme weather conditions such as cold, heat, wind and rain. Requires physical activity such as standing, lifting and other activities normally required in the performance of gatekeeping and concession operations.
