Bag drop area and cart staging area should be attended throughout the entire day. At the end of players round, attendant will clean players clubs and load them in the guest's vehicle or take to the bag drop. Provide Starter with needed assistance anytime Starter sees fit. Keep in constant communication with the Starter and other player assistants. At the end of your shift, place your radio on charger; making sure charger light is illuminated. Cover other areas if shorthanded, such as, but not limited to, picking up disabled carts, delivering messages, helping bag staff, picking the range, pulling carts to and from the barn. Ensures the cart staging area and cart storage area presentation and appearance is always clean, pleasing to the eye, and impeccable in its presentation, following the guidelines as set forth and measured by Bay Point Golf Club's Head Golf Professional. Attends a monthly golf staff meeting that covers training, customer service, and progress since the prior month. Follows and implements the management directives, programs, and policies sent to the club by Bay Point Golf Club's Head Golf Professional. Touring the cart staging area, bag drop, and driving range several times an hour to ensure it is operating according to Bay Point Golf Club's Head Golf Professional. Arrives to work in uniform with name tag on. Look and act professional. Keep the golf carts organized and clean with pencils, scorecards, tees, etc. Anticipates the guests needs. Assists the Head Golf Professional with the cart staging during all tournament operations. The ability to self manage and plan to ensure the range ball inventory is always adequate. The ability to provide exemplary member and customer service. The ability to get along with people. Must have a thorough working knowledge of the clubs golf and range operation. PT GOLF CART ATTENDANT The Great Outdoors Premier Rv/Golf Resort is currently seeking a PT Golf Cart Attendant to work 14-20 hours per week. Under the supervision of the Golf Pro, the PT Golf Cart Attendant will be responsible for: Opening & Closing of the Golf Cart Storage Area Greeting Customers Monitoring starting hole for scheduled daily play Administration of the following areas: Carts (Cleaning and Storage) Practice Facility (Appearance and Set-Up) Golf Course (Acting as a Player Assistant 1 st Tee (Monitor flow based on tee sheet) General cleaning and upkeep of work area Other duties as needed Experience and Background Requirements: Strong customer service and basic golf knowledge is preferred The Great Outdoors is proud to say we are a drug-free workplace.
