Job Summary: The Seawane Club in Hewlett, NY, seeks outside service valet staff to assist club operations by creating an excellent experience for members and guests. This includes greeting guests upon arrival, providing customer service by parking and retrieving vehicles, answering questions, and loading and unloading golf bags where appropriate. Essential Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome members and guests to the club and offer professional valet services
Accommodate members and guests by opening doors and assisting with golf clubs or other heavy items
Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot
Answer questions regarding golf, food and beverage, directions, and other club amenities and services
Collect and accurately label keys belonging to customers to ensure their proper return
Park member's and guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws
Operate vehicles safely and responsibility

Schedule

High preference is given to candidates that are able to commit to the full operating season, running from March through November. Candidates that are available for the full season will be considered first for any extra winter, off-season hours that may become available.
Candidate interested in summer-only positions must be available for the full summer season, running from late June through Labor Day. Weekend and holiday availability is required, including July 4 and Labor Day.

Qualifications

Experience working with large groups in a professional setting is preferred.
Additional experience in adventure tourism is preferred.
Schedule
This is an hourly position, 20-40 hours per week. Available positions can be seasonal, part time, or full time depending on operational needs and candidate availability.
High preference is given to candidates that are able to commit to the full operating season, running from March through November. Candidates that are available for the full season will be considered first for any extra winter, off-season hours that may become available.
Candidate interested in summer-only positions must be available for the full summer season, running from June through September. Weekend and holiday availability is required, including July 4 and Labor Day.
Candidates should have a flexible schedule with both weekday and weekend availability.
