The Lounge Attendant is a personal representation of the service and overall hospitality of the staff and the Lounge. While guests are waiting to be checked-in or waiting for assistance, it is the job of the Receptionist to ensure that the guests are made comfortable and kept informed of the status of their needs or wait times. We create unforgettable experiences for our guests!
Upon guest's arrival to their tables, the Lounge Attendant will greet them and will offer a delightful experience by ensuring that their every need is met. Tables will be kept clean at all times, drinks refilled, and special food allergies or other accommodations tended to.
The duties of a Lounge Attendant include:
Ensure guest satisfaction
Provide information of the airport and its facilities (Flight schedules and airlines information, direction to the departure gates, etc.) to the customers.
Assist passengers with their luggage if required. Prepare and serve coffee, cappuccino, latte and alcoholic drinks, upsell premium drinks, while monitoring the alcoholic consumption of customers.
Carry out regular checks of all areas of the lounge to ensure professional image and follow up with maintenance works.
Be able to work as a team and assist other colleagues within different responsibilities
Take initiative to identify areas for improvement and participate in continual improvement activities.
To be successful, you'll need patience, empathy, the ability to listen and a knack for making informed decisions in sometimes stressful situations
There will be moments where you will be required to remain calm, positive, and caring even when our customers are not
Restock food, beverages, snacks, coffee, cups, glasses, ice, etc. in all service areas as necessary
Certification and/or Food Handlers / Food Managers Permit, as applicable
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required
Commute to and from the Denver International Airport
Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, and work hours agreed to.
Ability to communicate and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of passenger/customer issues
Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
Related background in hospitality, customer service or restaurant/bar service
Pass and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications including, but not limited to, state liquor seller-server certification (TIPS/TABC) and state/local health department food handler certification

+ 21 years of age or older at time of application

+ Must be able to pass a 10-year background check, including criminal background history. Your background must not prohibit travel to or from anywhere United flies. For example, Canada has a strict inadmissible classification for DWI/DUI charges including misdemeanors. If you have been on probation or convicted of a DWI/DUI within the last 10 years, the Canadian government will not allow you to travel to and from Canada unless you have already received a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) from the Canadian government which will allow you to continue your work duties for a temporary period of time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PC Concession Attendant I/II
Attendant Job 9 miles from Aurora
The concession worker prepares food, serves customers and makes money transactions while maintaining a clean, safe environment within the standards set by the State of Colorado at Pirates Cove concession stand. Requires excellent customer service skills. While performing the essential duties of this job, this position is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, balance, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and move objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds frequently. Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. All final candidates must consent to a criminal background check.

PREPARATION AND TRAINING
The Concession Worker I must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a willingness to perform general guest relations duties. Possessing a good grasp of basic math is a must. A combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance may be considered.
The Concession Worker II must be able to demonstrate leadership towards staff and excellent customer service skills and a willingness to perform general guest relations duties. Employee must have one year experience in customer service. A combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance may be considered.
