This role will ensure the correct freight is placed on the conveyor to be placed by Robotic Arm at the induction lanes and make sure the correct label information is placed by Print and Apply equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and comprehend warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Prepare Robotic Arm and Print and Apply equipment for operation.
Transport freight using power equipment, including but not limited to, movement from staging areas to conveyor as well as removing pallets from the area.
Communicate with other team members to ensure proper freight is brought to staging areas.
Verify freight meets SOP guidelines prior to plastic pallet staging.
Stage full wood pallets onto plastic pallets to meet daily schedules.
Load staged pallets onto the conveyor.
Scan License Plate Numbers to ensure correct information is sent to multiple databases.
Adjust Print and Apply equipment as needed based on freight height and SOP guidelines.
Sort wood and plastic pallets at disassembly zones.
Transport empty plastic pallets to the staging area.
Inspect the output of the machines and identify any issues.
Resolve any label issues for cases diverted into “JackPot” lanes from different cells to a centralized location.
Monitor and control the machine performance and settings. Be comfortable operating a Programmable Logic Controller.
Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area.

Complete all necessary records, reports, and logs in a timely and accurate manner.
