The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project management, from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who has significant experience in tilt-up construction as well as ground-up projects, particularly large-scale commercial builds. This person will be based out of our Irvine, CA office location.
What You'll Do:
Project Planning & Execution: Manage the entire lifecycle of assigned construction projects, including project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
Budget Management: Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and minimizing cost overruns
Team Leadership: Lead a team of construction professionals, including site superintendents, subcontractors, and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment
Tilt-Up & Ground-Up Expertise: Apply technical knowledge in tilt-up and ground-up construction methods, ensuring best practices and quality standards
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and ensuring project objectives align with client expectations
Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during project execution to maintain schedules and budgets
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 8+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with proven experience in both tilt-up and ground-up projects
Project Scope: Demonstrated success managing large-scale commercial construction projects, ideally within the range of $10M to $50M or more
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar) and MS Office Suite
Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is a plus; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
Leadership: Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, with a track record of fostering teamwork and collaboration
