Responsibilities:
Hosting and speaking at public workshops, educate probable clients about all of their estate and financial planning options
Meeting with probable clients for first consultations and gathering all necessary information to make planning recommendations, and most importantly, aiding with the client to overcome procrastination and retain
Engaging clients to move forward with preparation of estate planning documents
Reviewing drafts of the estate plan to ensure the plan meets client needs and wishes
Utilizing your legal technical knowledge fiduciary responsibility to make recommendations to clients in order to create an exceptional, individualized plan
Conducting document signing appointments with clients including notarization of all documents while also explaining the plan, how it was designed based on their wishes and needs, and answering and addressing any and all concerns

This is an associate position as a family law associate with a salary commensurate upon experience. This is a family law practice that operates in Cook County and Kane County. We are a growing and active practice that emphasizes team work and serving the client's interests. We will not seek to provoke litigation and adjudicated resolutions, but we also will work towards reasonable settlement where possible. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two or three divorce trials where they were primarily responsible. This is not about how many years one has, but how many trials they have conducted. We expect our attorneys to run a case load of around 30 cases per attorney. The amount of cases will be dependent upon the complexity of issues within each case. I am a three-time, Super Lawyer in family law for Illinois and hold myself and out team to the highest standards in practice and ethics. Our attorneys must be willing to conduct litigation and be willing to attend court appearances on your own upon hire. We will prepare you for each appearance. I have a principal office in Arlington Heights, IL and a satellite location in St. Charles, IL. It is a flexible environment. Preference will be given to a bi-lingual attorney in Spanish; both written and oral communication in Spanish. I have a commitment to excellence in fundamentals. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
