This is a part-time or temporary non-benefited position. Description & Details: General office administrative and clerical duties. Data entry with NDSU systems and Microsoft Office applications. Gathering information from several reports to provide assistance to Williston Research Extension Center Director. Collecting reports, receipts, invoices, and other information to complete administrative entries. Responding to stakeholder communications in professional and friendly manner.
Work Schedule: Flexible schedule during normal business hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Preferably two full-days and a half day each week. Negotiable.

Minimum Qualifications: Experience with computer usage in general office administrative and clerical procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook software applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NDSU research or Extension settings and programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect all new hire paperwork and submit to Corporate.
Responsible for keying in hours in payroll solution for employees assigned to their location in a timely fashion.
Responsible for auditing job packet and preparing it for billing department in a timely fashion.
Responsible for keying in revenue and expense information into company ERP in a timely fashion.
Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
Greets incoming customers, vendors, and other visitors in a friendly and positive way and direct them appropriately.
Maintains office areas (employee break room, offices and reception area) to ensure a high level of office hygiene.
Assists with New Hire Orientation by setting up training room, assisting new hires with getting logged into the system and collecting new hire documents.
Accurately and confidentially handles various HR-related paperwork including, but not limited to, requisitions, new hire paperwork, transfer paperwork, merit increase paperwork, employee status paperwork, etc.
Handles incoming inquiries from existing employees and facilitates individualized training/troubleshooting as it relates to computer-based resources to include by not limited to Paycom and Ramp. Directs employees to appropriate departments/personnel as necessary.
Possesses basic business knowledge of such things as A/P, A/R, Purchase Orders, etc.
Opens, sorts, separates, and distributes mail neatly and accurately for company personnel.
Assists with shipping and receiving.
Performs other tasks and duties, as requested or required and authorized by supervisor.
