The ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
A Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or mechanical trade certificate preferred. Or bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, technical related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience with production automation process operations and functionality preferred.
Automotive automation experience. Mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, tear down and repair experience.
A minimum of five-years technical work experience preferred

Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will litigate and instruct law students on a broad array of issues, including civil rights abuses arising from police misconduct, the rights of prisoners and detainees, the criminalization of poverty, indigent defense, prosecutorial misconduct, and the constitutional rights of the accused.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Litigating trial-level damages and injunctive actions on the MJC's Clinic's docket, including through case development and investigation; client and community relationship-building; discovery, including document review, written discovery and taking depositions; legal research and brief-writing; and trial and hearing preparation and presentation;
* Team teaching the Civil Rights Litigation Clinic seminar and weekly case meetings, and closely supervising and mentoring law students assigned to MJC's cases;

This involves having a meticulous approach to case analysis, strategic development, witness preparation, courtroom presentations, and the skillful execution of legal strategies to effectively advocate for clients before judicial bodies. The faculty member will be encouraged to continue/launch independent research in applied developmental science that harnesses prevention and implementation science methods. Expertise in both early normative and atypical language and mental health markers (e.g., irritability) and contextual influences for children and families with diverse lived experience are key. We are particularly interested in scientists who bring neuroscience (e.g., EEG/ERP) and behavioral assessment expertise, with an eye towards translation of these methods to early identification and prevention.
MSS, the leading department of public health in a medical school nationally, serves as home to approximately 85 social and behavioral scientists guided by the shared mission to harness the social and behavioral sciences to advance innovation and impact in health. MSS is comprised of four divisions that map on the public health approach and include Outcomes and Measurement Science, Determinants of Health, Intervention Science, and Implementation Science. MSS includes a robust transdisciplinary research portfolio including $55 million in federal funding annually, high impact and output including over 500 publications annually, and global reach including collaborations with scientists in over 102 countries. This position will have ample opportunity to engage and collaborate with scientific activities within DevSci's University-wide community of over 300 scientists and students. The candidate may play a role in training and technical assistance via DevSci's Neurodevelopmental Assessment and Training Core, (***************************************** if this aligns with skills and interests.
