SUMMARY OF POSITION: Lake Washington Institute of Technology and Western Washington University have teamed up to create a seamless transition for students in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. We are looking for an individual with skills in one or more of the following areas: * Ability to teach current CompTIA A+ objectives, basic scripting and PowerShell to beginning and advanced students. Current Windows and open source client operating systems (Linux on desktop and handhelds). Familiar with Linux + objectives Coverage of CompTIA Network+ objectives and develop hands-on labs: networking, virtualization, command line, and TCP/IP protocol suite including sub-netting. * Strong introduction to Windows server administration including: installations, domains, AD, DNS, and DHCP. Hands-on labs are emphasized. * Fundamentals of encryption, network security, VLANS, VPNs, Virtualization (Hyper-V and VMware), Cloud Computing (Azure), and emerging technologies. Develop hands-on labs using rack-mounted servers, switches, and storage arrays. Depending on your abilities the position will center around one of the four areas listed above.
