WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Oversee office logistics (mail, shipping) and maintain office supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, evaluating new products, placing orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Working in teams of USDA and DCR staff, Forestry Assistants perform on the ground survey of host trees and host material for signs and symptoms of ALB infestation. Teams survey in all types of terrain; in wooded areas, swamps, and residential, commercial, and landscaped areas.
Over the course of the season, Forestry Assistant's will; hone their tree ID skills, become experienced in identifying damage to trees caused by a wide variety of biotic and abiotic factors, build upon their ability to read New England forests and landscapes, gain invaluable interpersonal experience working in mixed agency teams, become proficient in collecting and entering data using Esri ArcGIS Field Maps, and strengthen their communication skills through interacting with the public and stakeholders to carry out ALB host tree surveys.

Behavior Assistant (5 positions) Schedule: 2024-2025 School Year - Hours 8:35 - 3:05 Salary: Per Contract 18.00 - $23.49/hour based on experience To Start: March 2025 Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge and experience of the following are preferred:
•Previous Special Education experience
•Experience working with students with disabilities
•Behavior management training
•CPI restraint training preferred
Willing and able to train
Duties:
•Provide/support direct educational services
•Work with students with disabilities
•Work collaboratively with others in classroom (sub-separate and/or inclusion)
•Create opportunities for generalization and maintenance of skills
•Completion of daily log as necessary
•Maintain student notebook in neat and orderly manner
•Maintain student specific materials, reinforcers
•Participate in program meetings/trainings
•Review progress on IEP goals
•Support students in ADL (self-care & hygiene, toileting and other needs identified by the student's IEP and/or care plan).
•Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Teacher and/or Administrator
